I've had a date lined up with a lady for a week now for NYE but I've been visiting my parents and have to go back to the city i live in. No bigie. She sent me a text last night that said if coming back is a big problem, my friend has invited me to a house party and we can get together soon. Should I just cancel

I was going to come back to the town i live. It's only 1 hour away. She asked me to be her date for NYE actually.
