"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

HOW TO VIEW YOURSELF
-----------------------------------------

Don't be a doormat
You are a capable individual, but if you allow yourself to get used, how can you redeeme yourself? You've only made yourself into a good for nothing doormat that gets walked all over by others.

You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

*Salt made a good perservative for flavoring meat in anchient times, but would lose it's effect through use and often thrown out in the street where people would walk on it.

You are the prize
You are the grand prize, a present can not be withheld from the receiver. Neither can a trophy be hidden away in a dark closet, they put the trophy in a showcase to show off to anyone who chances upon it. In the same way as this trophy, shine so others will thank God for your fineness.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Chumps and Champs
I came to live the law of life. Until the end of the world as we know it not one bit of this law will be changed and all of it has been performed. Those who don't follow are chumps, and those that do follow are champs.I'm telling you that unless your behaviour surpasses that of other men you will never see paradise.

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

*The new covenant promise is a DJ principle, you live the law of life so you don't become subservient to others that do.

Focus on today
Stop worring about life, eating, drinking, your body, what to wear. Isn't your existance more important than food and your body more important than your clothes? God feeds these sparrows and they don't store away unnecessarily, so are you inferior to these sparrows? Don't spend time worrying about it. And why worry about clothes? Lillies do crap to clothe themselves, but even solomon with all of his wealth couldn't dress better than one of these water lillies. If he can cloth plants can't also God clothe you? Just seek God and his kingdom and those things will all be taken care of; stop worrying about unnecessary things that will happen tommorow and focus on the problems you are facing at this very moment.

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; And yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

-----------------------------------------
HOW TO TREAT OTHERS
-----------------------------------------

Admit your mistakes
Everyone knows that murder is illegal and is punishable by the law, but what I say is that anyone who become unreasonably becomes angry with his brother will be held subject to the law. Don't be the one who makes trouble. If you have caused problems then admit you are wrong before you have action taken against you; otherwise you're going to pay big time.

You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.'But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, Leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.

*Leaving your gift before the alter* is an idiomatic expression understood by those who spoke greek. People would leave gifts in front of statues of pagen deities in exchange for their blessings. It's hypocritical to leave these gifts if you don't wish the same for someone else.

Be Direct
You have heard people say, "Don't make promises you can't keep."
Here's I what I say to that, Don't make any promises to anyone for any reason, just
say yes and do it or so no and don't do it; otherwise your motive is just wrong.

Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.'But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne;Nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

How to treat others
Maybe you have heard the phrase, "do to others what they do to you"
Here's what I say, If someone throws crap at you, then put him into a position where he can't and don't throw any back. If you are forced to consider someone else's boundries, then learn some humility. When you are forced to work for a living do more than you have to, and give, and let people borrow from you.

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

*"A slap on the right cheek" is culturely idionatic meaning that traditionally people ate with their right hand and crapped with the other, By turning the other cheek you arn't putting them into a position to throw **** at you, but rather with the more respectable hand.

*Civil courts are to discuss disputes between two people; someone was overtly aggressive or forceful.

*Traditionally military and supply drafts were common in anchient israel and citizens were forced to march long miles for the sake of the government. Sometimes they would also borrow carts and other needed supplies locally with the intent of return or payment. The fact that the items may not be returned or payment not received is not considered in the context.

Make Friends
You've probably heard "befriend you neighbor and hate you enemies" What I'm saying is that you should befriend your enemies and wish good things for those that dislike you, then you csn be a son of God. Good or bad everyone experiences the same things in life, and you gain nothing by limiting your friendships; even a filthy tax collector knows that he needs friend. You should do more than acknowledge those in which you share common elements; even a stranger knows when to do this. Do things the correct way like my heavenly father does.

"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, That you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Don't take dirt
If a guy shows you disrespect, confront him and point it out to him; if he submits you've won his friendship. If he doesn't submit, get two others for back-up and confront him again. If then he doesn't submit, get the whole neighborhood's help. If he doesn't submit to the whole neighborhood; he's an inferior dirtbag. Here's the truth of the matter. Whatever actions that occur will have already been decided by higher authority. Whatever forgiveness that occurs will have already been decided by higher authority. If two or more people agree with your cause higher authority will act in your favor. Those who come together in my name will already have me and my authority with them.

"Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.' And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

-----------------------------------------
Jesus on sexual relationships
-----------------------------------------

Brothers before Babes
A man who desires a woman who has commited herself to another man has already imagined sexual acts with her in his own mind. He shouldn't see her or touch her otherwise his mind goes to the gutter.

"You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not commit adultery.'But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

Unfaithfulness
Some of you have been saying that any man who wants to seperate from a woman must first get a legal certificate.
You have no reason to seperate unless you find her screwing other men; otherwise you are the one promoting undue sexual activity.

"Furthermore it has been said, 'Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.'But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.

Jesus on commitment
Some men came to Jesus and asked "Can a man seperate from his woman for just any reason?"Jesus said, "From the beginning mankind was created male and female; men and women become united through their children.
You can't take apart what God has caused to be united through sexual intercourse. They again asked, "Why did Moses command a legal certificate to seperate from a woman, then?" Jesus replied,"Because you are stubborn, but it wasn't always like that. Any man who seperates from his woman when she has been faithful to him is commiting adultry." Jesus' deciples asked him," Should anyone ever bother getting together if men and women can not bother to stay faithful to one another?" He further said,"Only people who have been given the opportunity to commit can accept haveing a relationship. Some people are just naturally sexually defunked; some have been made into chumps, and some just don't want to have a commited relationship. But if you ever get the opportunity to have a commited relationship, then have a commited relationship."

Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, that He departed from Galilee and came to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them there. The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?"And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,'And said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'?So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." They said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?" He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery." His disciples said to Him, "If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry." But He said to them, "All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given: For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it."

First, the bible is a good book of inspiration for those that need it. However, the religion has so much dogma and rituals surrounding it that it seems that the whole point or essence that comes from the bible has been lost.

Consider for whom the bible was written. It was written for shephards in the desert app 2000 years ago.

Then there are some geographic considerations as well. God is viewed as a spiteful god who will smack a person down to hell for not following the mold of the ideal christian... (Funny how a god would give the gift of FREEDOM only to condemn those that excercise this very same freedom.) Contrast this with East Indian Gods, their gods are all loving entities that embrace life and offer very little in 'attitude' or vengeance. Then look at where they lived, fertile mountain regions with animals of every kind roaming wild and freely. People are/were more attuned to nature, and their gods follow these same principles.

What I'm saying is that Christianity is no longer a valid religion for todays society, and society is beginning to see that this is true, which explains why fewer and fewer people are attending church, and considering themselves christian.

"God is dead." - nietzsche

My 2 cents.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You make some very good points pimp, but Christianity as a whole has also been corrupted from it's origional inception. Not all early Christians believed that there was an immediate afterlife or worshipped on sunday. In fact, most early Christians still had worshipped on saturday and held a simple religion until the its' wide spread caused the assimilating of practices which were neither biblical nor origionally taught by Jesus or the disciples.

In this means you are absolutly correct. Unnecessary rituals have polluted the origional purpose of Christ's biblical preaching and have distracted those who could benefit from the purity of Christ's teachings.

I'm taking that it's good you quoted quoted nietzsche for this purpose. If you don't already know he became one of the founders of neo-orthodoxy, which promoted a lot of liberal ideas and anti-dogmatic type syntaments in order to modernize Christianity. Traditionalist sort of spurn his thinking, but others of the same mind see it as a fascinating alternative to traditional Christianity despite some of his own odd personal views.

Can you give the names of the gods you are talking about, and also the sources from where you got this information?

from what I know of Hinduism (i assume is what you are talking about it, since its the root religion in India and the surrounding areas) the gods are all very diverse and often one god can display very destructive as well as creative powers.

To me, the difference I notice between hinduism (and other eastern religions) is that the gods encompass many different archetypes of human subconsciousness, while in the west (except from pagan religions) the religions are only reflections of the ego. (the ego monopolizes the individual, which is reflected by the monotheist religion(s), contrasting the polytheist religions in the east.)

I am by no means an expert on the subject, I'm going off conversations that I've had with East Indian people that I've met throughout my travels... I think the main one that I'm talking about is Brahmn (or something like that)

This second section is a little bit more along what I was trying to say, but my main point was that geography and the environment in which a people live will have an effect on the idols and personality that they attribute to their gods.

As far as Nietzsche, I think that he was referring to the fact that the word God is at the point where it is so over used that it has become pretty devoid of meaning.
