"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

she sent me a letter

and in that letter she sent a picture of me wen i was 3 years old.

letter said as following.

I was looking through my things and found your photo. I thought you should have it back. Its a nice photo. I didn't want to keep something that is rightfully yours. Thats all.

.........

Thanks to you guys and sosuave I have learn and stick with the NC.

Our break was a nasty one she ****ed me over really bad.

It's being 10 months of NC till now that received this letter.

Watt do you guys think of this? Why would she even bother?

Is she using the picture as an excuse to talk to me? Maybe she wants to get me to talk to her again?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

She misses you, um correction she misses torturing you and making your life miserable. Don't fall into her trap, stay NC. You've done great so far, keep it u and don't give in to the temptation, you deserve better than that.

There was nothing in the letter to say: "Please talk to me. I was such a bytch to you and I've hated myself every minute of every day since we broke up.
I'm so unbelievably sorry I treated you like crap and I completely deserve the fact that you haven't talked to me for 10 months.
I really am sorry and I hope you realise that. I just hope that one day we can talk again so I can tell you again how sorry I am. You were truly the best thing to happen to me and every day that passes without you is another dagger of regret in my already shattered heart.
I hope this photo I found of you goes some small way to re-establishing some contact in the future.
If not, I fully understand. I hope you're keeping well and I really, truly wish you all the best and hope my cvnt behaviour can be forgiven one day."

No, she didn't write anything like that. It was more like a half-arsed attempt to see if you'd take the bait and contact her so her goddamn brain hamster gets off the wheel for a second.
Do NOT take the bait. It's a half-hearted gesture with a half-hearted note.

You hold all the aces now, contacting her - even just to thank her for getting the photo to you - is playing her game and then she won't feel so bad about herself any more.

Don't do it.

When I got divorced, my ex-wife ended up with all of our stuff. Over the next few years, I periodically received "care packages" that were basically my own things given back to me as gifts. That's how she dealt with her guilt.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

If you really want to play with fire, do this:

Send her a short note thanking her for the photo. Write something like "Thanks for sending the photo of me when I was three years old. I appreciate it, so here's an updated photo of how I look today."

Of course, the new photo you send will be of you, looking bad ass, with a hot lass on your arm.

Ok, ok... Maybe not the best advice ever.

Totally agree. Either don't respond or say "thanks" and be on with your life.

This has happened to me many times. They do it when they strike out with the guy they left you for. I've gotten back chords to electric razors, cds, t-shirts.. The cheesiest things I could care less about. It's a cowardly little probe on their part to see if they can get you back temporarily for self-esteem purposes. It's a waste of time, just tell her to buzz off if she contacts you again.

OP, silence is always the most powerful, hurtful message you can send.
This. Stay away. She is trying to get your attention but that' all. Feeding the ego. Stay away.

Good luck man. You have done great.
