"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hello!
In my every-day life, my social skills goes up and down. It's crazy! One day I am happy and have all the girls surrounding me, and the next day, I am shy, and talking with girls seems hard. The next day it seems very easy to talk and I am not shy. What is this cycle? Is there a way to get out of it, to be happy and social every day? I don't know what in my mind that blocks me form being happy and social like the other guys, like every day..

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I got the same problem. 2 weeks ago, you could've swonrn i was the hottest guy ins chool, i had so many chicks talking to me & stuff. I was getting crazy kino with this one girl, and I really got in with this hb9 in my gym class.
But then last week, i was a sucky loser again. That sucked. I hated it. I figure maybe I was just lazy becauseit was a 3 day week with thanksgiving and all.
But this week I'm doing real well again, so my advice is to just ride it out and know that it will be better soon!

Yeah, it really sucks. But what is it that causes us to be the hottest guy in school, and the next week we are losers? We try to approach and talk with girls, but it doesn't feels that great that it did the last day, and the humour isn't on top exactly, your self esteem is low...

You can't be on top, happy, every day, but what does the other guys that the girls is talking to have that we don't? It's weird, it can't be something we are born with, it must be a mindset... Someone with more help for us?

Edit: It goes like this: The mondays, I am shy... the shyness going down as closer to friday we get, and I am the hottest guy in the class on fridays. Then I go home from school, use the weekend to study alone and long for the monday to come. n monday, I am completely shy... anyone recognizing this?

At least you're not doing as I do:

Monday - Walk with eyes to the ground, porn
Tuesday - Avoid eye contact with strangers, porn
Wednesday - After school, cry from anger and frustration, porn
Thursday - Cry more, porn
Friday - Listen to Linkin Park*, cut self with razor blade*, porn

* - Not true

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
