Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

For the past year or so I've dated easy 75-100 different girls. Meeting them from all different places.

You name it, target, starbucks, walking on the street, myspace, i've done it all.

I genuinely haven't been really interested in any but maybe a couple of them. So I think I wasted the entire summer with this one girl, it took me so long to figure out that we would never be anything more than friends who ****, and I was so blind to see it. We had basically nothing in common, not much to talk about, but we got along great and had some good times. All long she had a boyfriend.

So I made the move to remove myself from the situation and totally next this girl, and resume the prowl.

I met this somewhat cute girl at starbucks, we hit it off pretty well. Had a fun time, had a couple of dates, and she totally fell for me right away. This was a really desperate girl, and I was way turned off by it. So basically I just toyed with her and went on dates with her without even wanting anything more than to have sex with her. She wanted me to be the boyfriend or whatever. So, that didn't work. And from day two, it hit me that this girl was not someone I wanted, she was an annoying desperate ***** that would call and text me non stop. So that didn't work.

So then I happen to be messing around on myspace. Start talking to this girl who seemed kinda edgy and artsy. It was pretty weird, we really shared a ton of common interests, everything you name it.

So this girl has some terrible pictures on myspace, one of her dressed up in goth, some of her with bad makeup jobs on, and I'm like hmmm. I'll take this girl out and see whats happening, what have I got to lose?

So, we talked for a couple weeks online, then I called her and asked her out. She ended up taking me to a concert. I didn't know what to expact, so I pick her up, and out steps the cutest, most fun girl I have been around in the longest time.

She was dressed in a gap skirt, black boots, and a gap top. Totally classy, not skanky ever.

So, i'm totally blown away. I asked her, so I seriously thought you were some goth type girl. She's like oh, those are some pictures from haloween. I can't pull off goth if i tried.

Diamond in the rough? I'd say so.

So we got to talking, we are so similar its frightening. Neither of us has been in a serious mutual loving relationship. I'm 23, and its sad but I never have. I've gotten play from alot of girls, and dated lots of girls, just for the sake of dating them, but never had anything more.

So date two comes up, I call her up, we go to a few bars and stuff, i bring some friends in tow. Great atmosphere. Terrible bars, we ended up drinking at my buddys house until 4 in the morning, and had an excellent time.

So the next day I had planned to take her to dinner and a movie. She gives me a call, shes like hey I've got this school portfolio that I have to do, so would you mind if we did the dinner/movie thing another night. I'm like no problem at all, and told her to have a great rest of the day.

Ten minutes later she calls me back, and says, hey would you like to come over to my apartment a little later tonight? I'll be here doing some work but I'd be glad to put on some coffee and chill with you for a while.

Everything could be quite possibly good....

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

First, most girls on myspace are attention hos. It's almost like a slvt network - which for guys just looking to use and abuse is good.

Next, to even try the goth stuff out or think about pulling it off as if it were kewl or something. This isn't a good sign, shows promiscuity.

Her going out with you and some friends without knowing you that well. I'm guessing it was just you, she and your guy friends? Hmmm .. one girl out with several guys and one she doesn't know that well yet and the rest even less.

Now inviting you over. I'd really get to know her a bit before you dive in deep and get more attached to her. Make sure she is doesn't have alot of guy friends and isn't an AW.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

There's a problem here. In the past year you've found 75-100 girls that are good enough to date you?? And during this time you haven't been able to secure a relationship with a smoking hot one??

There are many flaws I see here. Either you are grabbing broads from the bottom of the barrel and your standards aren't high enough... OR you aren't able to keep women attracted to you for long enough and you are forced to date billions of women..

Quality over quantity will always win out.
