After a while of observations and stories from both myself and others around me, I've made a conclusion that is likely near 100% in 2026.

All girls have a boyfriend. This can be romantic or purely physical, but every girl currently, at least in the west, has a boyfriend. Even the fat and ugly ones have someone having sex with her or looking to have sex with her. I've seen literally down syndrome looking women get hit on. It's a total disaster right now. This is very prominent since I've been looking to replenish my plates and realize how much harder it is before 2020. And also seeing all the men complaining about not getting a girl in various places.

Yes, it is normal to have f*ckbuddies that are married or already with a boyfriend. I had a few that were in that status. But something is different about the relationships today. It feels like the girls don't want to pursue anything with you. They just want your time and attention more than anything. Not your d*ck. And they ask for so many things from you other than sex. I may have to start ONLY going after college girls at this point. 18-22 range exclusively. At least they will have lesser demands.

Gen Z women are much more open to being in indefinite plate status than previous generations. Millennial women typically did not like ever not being the sole woman in your rotation but I have found a few Gen Z women now who are perfectly fine with periodically meeting for good times with sex attached to it and don't mind that we aren't "exclusive." This is obviously anecdotal, but noteworthy from the standpoint that it does seem to be a shift in mindset.

And yes, I also have two women right now who are married who hound me incessantly to hook up (in a very indirect way to save face). I know both husbands though so I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. Granted, this is a tale as old as time.

The world is 1-to-1 gender balanced. 50% male, 50% female.

So if every girl has a boyfriend, then every boy also has a girlfriend. That's assuming monogamy.

There is only one possibillity for all girls to have boyfriends but not the other way around. And that is, if boys are allowed to have more than one girlfriend at a time.

No it doesn't work quite that way. Every girl can have several boyfriends, and there's men who can have several girls/ plates. But not every man has a girl at all.

this does not line up with my perception at all. I would say more woman seem to be single than ever. this is definitely the case for women in their 20s
but i'd say it applies to women in their early 30s too.

the kind of guys most women actually go for are the kind of guys that can get away with dating multiple women.

By choice. And those women can still get d*ck despite being single. Or they have a potential orbiter who can f*ck her yet she refuses to due to holding out.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Which means they treat you the same, so keep your mental accordingly.

Some guys have trouble handling that. Based on your previous threads and posts I don't think you are one of them, that's mainly for the other forum members that might come across this.

its all fluid and changing. the boyfriend answer is a decent measure. if more have boyfriends (the i am not high interest answer) then before, its just telling that in some way the environment is shifted. the actual numbers are about the same bur our relative position is always moving. lots of women have boyfriends and don't tell us... or they do tell us depending on our relative position

To have more nuance and context on this topic, everyone should be familiar with Schrödinger’s cat thought experiment.

For anyone unaware, Schrödinger’s cat is a famous physics thought experiment where a cat is placed in a sealed box with a 50% chance of being killed by poison. Until you open the box, the cat is considered both alive and dead simultaneously, with reality only becoming definite when you observe it. In this same context, girls are never truly single, and they’re never truly taken.

Any guy who has been in the game long enough has probably seen this firsthand. Women are never single in quite the same way men are. The idea of a woman going, say, 2 months without any real interaction with men is hard to believe. She could be sleeping with an ex, dating 3-4 guys from apps, having casual encounters, hanging out with male friends, or, at the very least, talking to a few guys through text or Instagram. So even though she may technically be "single," she is still getting plenty of male attention, which puts her in that permanent Schrödinger limbo.

The bigger idea here is that whenever you get involved with a woman, there is usually another guy somewhere in the picture. He might not be her actual boyfriend, but he could be someone she is sleeping with, dating, hanging out with, or talking to. The reality is that every time you get a girl, you are taking her from someone else.

I think fewer women are having "boyfriends" in the traditional sense these days
ie a committed exclusive relationship with a man who isn't (yet) husband or fiance.

But almost every woman may have a "boyfriend", or "boyfriends"
Who could be
* actual boyfriend
* non-sexual boyfriend (orbiter)
* some guy they're dating this week/month
* some guy they're fkcing but not dating (FWB/plate)
* an ex they're still seeing
* a celebrity they're drooling over ("Tom Holland is my boyfriend")
* no actual boyfriends, just said it to make you go away, or embarrassed at being single
* a girlfriend, but didn't want to say out loud that she's gay

If she's flirting with you, and enjoying the attention/validation, the boyfriend revelation may not arrive for a while, unless prodded for it.

If she wants to keep you as an option, then when pushed, she won't have a "boyfriend", instead is "seeing someone".

We got to be talking about hot girls under 30.

Sosuave can't say women over 35, overweight women, single mothers, and ugly women have boyfriends. I mean, men may sleep with them with the lights off, but they ain't making themselves boyfriends unless they crazy.

Well, the buck kinda sorta stops here... Any of us can, I'm sure, name even young women whom we PERSONALLY don't find especially attractive, yet are paired up with a fella who doesn't appear to be a schmuck. This is cause for rejoicing:

Clearly, just about ANYONE can succeed in the realm of dating and mating
