"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Ever get to the point where you feel like you can't or don't care? I got this great girl, one that exceeds all my wants/desires for quality in a women. I've known her for 4 years been together the past 5 months, and I just feel like I am not into her. Or other girls really for that matter.

I'm still interested in women, I just feel like I've cut off my emotions. I think I've read about other DJ's goin through this once they reach a certain level.

How do you get past this?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Choosy DJs choose premium women but you sound confused. You say you have a great woman but you're not into her; so why not let her go?

Because she is basically everything that I look for in a women. She has the intelellect, morals, value, and a stunning body. She turns me on, I'm basically happy, I guess I'm just confused because I don't have that I'm AFC madly in love with her feeling.

I almost feel like the typical Good Will Hunting guy who was hurt as a kid so he takes the Freudian defence by not allowing others to get close to him. Except I haven't had trust issues as a kid, and have had healthy loving relationships in the past with women.

In my case, I think that I built her up so much before we were together, that when we were together, she totally fell for me because of all the DJ skills that I've acquired over the years, but deep down I guess I was scared that she would see the bad side of me and dump me, so I did the Freudian thing, and prevented myself from allowing my feelings to naturally do whatever they wanted.
