Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
She obviously has pain or a hole in her she's trying to fill. Narcisism grows when it is unchecked. I was one for several years as I was near the top of my craft at that time. I was more selfish, focused on self, could justify anything ( entitlement ), felt like a god... I lost my wife that supported it, and realized that was the strongest part of my support structure, as the leeches ate away the rest of the foundation.I dated one that showed signs. She was an HB9, very attractive girl, former model. I still think about her. Hottest girl I was ever with.
-She could never relate to what I was feeling or thought.
-Always thought everybody should just give her what she wanted because she was so beautiful and charming!
-She would constantly prompt her kids to say "Momma Rocks!" It was a way to boost her ego. She would also tell me all the time that she "rocked". Her email was "[email protected]".
-She told me one time I wasn't religious enough for her......this girl was by no way religious other than she had a bunch of crosses hanging on the walls.
-She was highly vain and preoccupied with beauty. Fake hair, fake nails, fake boobs. She worked out all the time, ate perfectly, had a beautiful toned body.
-Always wanted to be told how great she was.
-She has her college diploma and several awards hanging on the wall in her bedroom. It struck me as odd. I think its her way of reminding herself every night before she goes to bed that she earned all that.
-She had a bad relationship with her mother. I would guess it had to do with all the **** her mom ran thru and Katie felt left out/ignored which created attachment issues.
Her charm and beauty was just a facade for what was broken inside. Reminds me a lot of Donald Trump, only with looks and charm. This girl craved that new relationship high and was rarely satisfied. I hate to know how many guys she has ran thru.
She is now on her 6th husband and just turned 40. Her mother was married 6 times as well. She is raising a super cute little girl that will for sure carry on the family tradition.
In almost all of these people that have mental issues, you can trace the start of it back to childhood and coming from a broken home/divorced parents/etc.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Wolves in sheep's clothing.Try being married to one.....
As someone said.... they are beautiful on the outside but rotten to the core.
