evading friend zone?

I was just wondeing what everyone's thoughts are on hanging out with a girl whom you have no immediate opportunity with (bf factor) but do have a mild interest in? How do you balance between hanging out with her but not falling too deep into the friend zone (so that any future possibilities go down the crapper)?

I wouldn't hang out with her and be her emotional tampon, however I would stay in loose contact with her and then make a move in if they break up.

This keeps you still in the game, still in her mind, but dosen't make you so available you fall into the "friendzone"

That's what I was thinking. I haven't really hung out with her but she does seem keen on hanging out on a very casual basis with a couple other mutual friends. I guess I should've added that part, heh.

Well said skull, if you have an intial intrest in her and you keep hangin out with her pretending to be friends.....chances are you will turn afc.
