Hi all,

I was hoping there would be a sticky thread on this topic lol.

I might be in some ED stage and I think for quite sometime now. I am obviously single and never had any active sex life. But now looking to get back into the game once again.

I need to give myself handjob to get am hard rock erection and even then unable to keep it without it. I need to keep shaking or stimulating otherwise with in a minute hardness fades away and eventually to sleep mode. I do not want to consult a doctor and should think this is something every guys goes through in his life ? So I was hoping some of you can suggest, advice me regarding this issue.

Every now and then I do get morning wood and sometimes it is not really wood just semi erect. ATM doing basic stuff like avoiding processed food, good sleep. I work from home and having less movement does not help. I guess cutting out porn can help as well. Personally I like watching amateur, home made videos as it looks more real. Does jerking off watching it is counter intuitive ? Not sure how much it matters but I am 5'11 and 150lbs.

Testosterone supports overall health, energy, and libido, but your main issue may be more about conditioning and lifestyle. I’d stop watching porn and take a break from masturbating for a while to reset your mind. To be honest, spending more time interacting with attractive people in person can increase your motivation and sexual arousal in a way porn doesn’t.

On top of this, try to exercise regularly, make sure you’re eating enough, and hopefully you are getting enough sleep. Eating extremely low calories can lower testosterone by 62%–77%, while sleep deprivation can reduce testosterone by up to 27%. This is bro-science, but I find deadlifts, squats, and drinking black coffee, stuff that puts hair on your chest, helpful.

Either way, I'd stay away from over-the-counter supplements like Tribulus, Horny Goat Weed, or Fenugreek, as they lack solid human evidence. However, you can try Ashwagandha or Maca since there is at least some limited data showing a slight boost in natural levels in sexual health, but fixing your sleep, diet, and anxiety will do 90% of the heavy lifting. If this keeps happening consistently though I'd get it checked out by a doctor.
