Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I hated change. I would rarely go out of my comfort zone. I get anxiety everyday whenever I think about the social interactions I’m going to encounter throughout my day, whether it’s school, work, or small gatherings. Since joining the forums, I’ve disciplined myself into never breaking my frame. I’ve built up enough confidence to do things I would never do before. I found that going in there without giving it too much thought has worked wonders. Once things are set in motion, it’s usually smooth sailing from there. There are constant barriers in my mind that want to keep me from improving myself, from proving me wrong whenever I have negative thoughts. This is just like the feeling you get before you jump into a pool. You’re going to hesitate. You’re going to worry about how cold the water is going to be against your skin. But once you make that jump, everything turns out to be all right. You can’t let fear control you. It is just an illusion that holds you back from doing new and exciting things that will change your life for the better. I have to keep reminding myself that it is all in my head. The way you see yourself is the way others will see you.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Change is only good if the result is an improvement.

Change for sake of change is insane.

That's what I meant :p strictly improvement. I'm not going to force myself to do something that doesn't fall into who I am or what I want to become, that would be crazy
