eggs with microwave

all we are allowed in college in dorms are microwaves and fridges. i s till want to eat eggs though, do any of you have any experience with eating microwaved eggs, as in how to cook them and how they taste?

If you put a little water in with 'em it's a fast way to have soft boiled eggs. Scrambled works great too.

For some reason the middle of the bowl doens't cook so I have to stir every 30 seconds.

Or have em raw. If you are paranoid about somalia like me, boil some water ( by microwave) and turn the heat off. Then crack your eggs into the water and drink egg soup. The heat should kill the germs and the eggs will mostly still be liquid. Put whatever flavorings/veggies/meat you want into the soup.

we have these plastic cut things that you put eggs in, then pop in the microwave for perfect little round egg "thingies".... they taste pretty good.

Pick up a portable stove top gizmo(& hide it) and make scrambled egg whites.

Use the same stove top to boil water and make hard-boiled egg whites.

I'm not sure what school you're going to. At my old school, you were basically screwed as far as cooking goes. When I transferred, some of the dorms actually had community kitchens, and the cafeteria food wasn't half bad. If you do end up with a kitchen, you may be in luck to make the usual stuff (scrambled eggs or however you prefer), and you should be able to get scrambled eggs from your cafeteria for breakfast. Some schools are better than others as far as food as concerned.

You people can't cook. Just mix 1 tablespoon of milk per egg, beat together, and microwave to make scrambled eggs. Stir after it starts to cook around the outside. This makes perfect scrambled eggs. Add cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.

btw, I was doing this when I was 12. The taught it in 6th grade. I don't understand the difficulty. Are you guys not putting in the milk? I have never had bad eggs this way.

i've always put milk in scrambled eggs.

as said above, check on whether your dorm has a community kitchen.

Milk in scrambled eggs is very common. In fact I've never heard of NOT putting milk in scrambled eggs.
