Ecdysterones have been studied more and more of late and have shown significant muscle growth in human studies as well as multiple animal studies.

Their mechanism of action is similar to Anabolic steroids in that it increases protein synthesis but they don't act in the same way but rather on the estrogen receptor beta.

- Binding to the estrogen receptor beta (ERβ). Recent studies have shown that ecdysterone binds to and activates ERβ, which can promote muscle hypertrophy.
Increasing protein synthesis in skeletal muscle.

-Ecdysterone has been demonstrated to enhance protein synthesis, possibly by stimulating the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway.

-Reducing myostatin expression. Some in vitro studies indicate ecdysterone may decrease myostatin gene expression, which could promote muscle growth.

-Activating the MAS1 receptor. There is a hypothesis that ecdysterone may activate the MAS1 receptor, which is involved in muscle hypertrophy, though this mechanism is not fully understood.

Safety profile have been excellent with no demonstrated levels of toxicity, no liver/kidney issues detected in blood work and none of the normal side effects you would experience with Anabolic compounds. Also does not cause any T suppression so no PCT would be needed.

Was added to the World Anti-Doping Agency's Monitoring list for a potential ban so you know there has to actually be some basis behind that.

"The ecdysterone administration led to increased serum IGF1 concentrations in comparison to the control group while thyroxin (T4) concentrations decreased.

Significantly higher increases in muscle mass were observed in those volunteers that were dosed with the ecdysterone supplements. Even more relevant with respect to sports performance, also significantly more pronounced increases in one-repetition bench press performance were observed.

These data underline the effectivity of an ecdysterone supplementation with respect to sports performance. We therefore strongly recommend to include ecdysterone in the list of prohibited substances and methods in sports to improve clean competition in the future.

As the exact mechanism of action is not yet fully understood, we suggest to include it in class S1.2 “other anabolic agents”."

Planning to run some for 8 weeks and see what happens.

It's fascinating to see the potential benefits for muscle growth and performance. The mechanisms of action you mentioned, such as binding to estrogen receptor beta, increasing protein synthesis, and reducing myostatin expression, are intriguing.

The safety profile seems promising, with no reported toxicity or side effects, which is a significant advantage over anabolic steroids. It's also interesting to note that ecdysterones don't cause T suppression, eliminating the need for PCT.

The fact that WADA is considering adding ecdysterones to their list of prohibited substances suggests that there's some real efficacy behind them. The study you mentioned, which showed significant increases in muscle mass and bench press performance, is compelling.

So far so good...been on it for a couple weeks now coupled with MK-677 and my strength has increased significantly...like we are talking 30lbs on most lifts and not just for a set or set and a half but for 3-4 sets.

It's pretty crazy...I can't necessarily attribute this to Ecdy specifically but it seems to work well in conjunction with MK-677 that is for sure.
