Eat before or after working out?

I drink fluids before and eat nothing more than a small snack or

enery bar.

Within an hour after working out, I eat things with protien such

as a BBQ'd chicken breast. This works for me.

I have a preworkout shake and a postworkout shake on my weight training days.

If you're weightlifting I suggest having a shake before and after too. It's best to have the food come from liquid form, so your body can absorb it all quickly.

A recent study showed that guys who take the whey pre-workout made more hormones and whatnot. Pretty sweet. You also need big calories after a workout, so do both.

You need to eat before AND after.
It's discustinly catabolic to go with an empty stomach and it's even worst to don't afterwards.
Take that **** that the media has put into your heads, to lose weight you need to eat. The right stuff, at the right time, but not eating is the worst thing you can do.
