i was wondering if someone could comment on dutch girls and german girls, and how guys would fare in trying to pick them up at bars and pubs?

As a guy who has lived in the US, in Germany and Sweden, let me put it this way:

I have often experienced that German girls who would not even be considered exceptionally good looking, just nice (by German standards), were rated solid 9s and 10s by most of my American buddies.

And don't even get me started on the Swedish girls...You might not want to return home again (My Dad did, however not without taking my mom with him ;-)

Generally, I would say that German girls are a bit taller and usually a lot thinner. This kinda applies for everyone from Europe...I have a pretty normal looking physique (by Euro Standard) but was regularly asked whether I was anorexic or someting...

Imho, German and Swedish girls usually aren't as prude as US chicks and tend to play less silly games when it comes to dating and stuff.

i don't know about the dutch but i have been to germany four times and to many parts(east, west, south) the girls there are way better than here. here about 1 and 20 girls my age looks good, in germany about 6 in 10 girls my age looks good

I am going to be honest with you: I don't think your looks will help you, maybe it will even reduce your chances with some of the girls. However, I can only speak from the experience which I have gained around the city that I live in, Hamburg.

Hamburg is the second largest and wealthiest city in Germany or even Europe (London might beat us though). 1 in 200 people (counting all the 1,5 Million inhabitants!) is a millionaire here, so the girls might be a little more stuck up and biased, I don't know.

I have never met a dutch girl, so I can't help you on your second question.

Well it depends, there's some chicks that are all into this interracial thing and others that arent. Just keep on pimping. I've been to a bunch of countries in Europe, probably the hottest chicks are in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. I also like Italian chicks and generally the southern chicks. I havent been to Sweden, but Swedish chicks are hot and supposedly really easy. (drop their panties at hello) I also like mixed mullatto chicks, and France has a lot of them. But since you're Asian, it depends on the chicks. If you were black, then you might have a bit more success. Are you tall and built or short and kinda weak looking? If the first then you should get chicks. Chicks in Europe are a lot more friendly and approachable than in North America. Asian guys aren't that uncommon in Europe, although a lot of them spend most of the day working. Good luck

PS:Oh yeah I forgot. The Netherlands is probably one of the most multiracial countries on the continent, so I think chicks are used to dating other races. Germany is more white, although there are some Turks and others. France is also pretty mixed. Italy is mostly Italians and sometimes you find some others. Czech Republic and Slovakia, also mostly white, although there are a bunch of Asians there, especially Vietnamese and Chinese. Most diverse countries in terms of other races are probably the Netherlands, France, UK and probably Belgium (especially Brussels,...Flanders is more white) Although all the countries in Europe have other races, so people are used to Asians, especially in the big cities, although you might sometimes get some negative stuff.

It's like any other country - there will be women that like Asian men, and those that don't. Ditto for black men - though I think today they are getting a lucky break because of the hip-hop craze in Europe. There are probably more wiggers per capita in Germany than in any other country in the world. If it weren't for the counterbalance of hip hop's popularity, I don't think black guys would be getting as much there as they do, because underneath it all, Germans are still very racist (I do not say this about Germans from pure ignorance, so take it at face value). Alhought Nazism and theories about "Untermenschen" are strongly discouraged and stigmatized, a healthy dose of xenophobic racism still persists. It is especialyl pronounced against Muslims and Turks, however, as they are the most visible and numerous minority in Germany.



Anyway, I am a pretty well-put together guy - I dress well, am in good shape, and can be outgoing when I want/need to. So I had some good times in Germany with da Frauleins. But let's face it - if you're facially unattractive, are poorly kempt (greasy hair, dorky haircut, bad teeth, etc.), are especially short or scrawny - you shouldn't hope to get poon. Women are the same everywhere - they respond best to looks, status, and personality. It's just that in Europe, race is less of a big deal as it is in Amerikkka. On that much, the above posters are correct.

I believe Hip Hop's popularity helps. Ofcourse that can be limiting in somes ways too.

It's ironic that some "minorities" seem to do well in the whitest of countries. It's almost like the women aren't as racist as some of the men.

Are you from Deutscheland too? As for your last comment, I think it's just the lure of the exotic. Once a minority get more numerous/noticeable and becomes a permanent fixture in society, watch the majority get hostile and unfriendly. Happens everywhere - in the Amerian Southwest the racism is directed at Latinos (Mexicans esp) and Asians because there are lots of them, and in the South/NE U.S., blacks, Cubans, Puerto Ricans, etc.

well i used to play division iii basketball, so i look like a jock. but i'm shy, so i've never really dated more than a handful of girls in college.

anyways, i just read on the internet that french girls have a thing for asian guys, so i thought i'd ask.

Germany, like virtually all of Europe, is profoundly racist. 36% of Germans would not want to have a Turkish neighbor, 2/5 would not want a Polish neighbor, and 1/2 would object to having an Arab neighbor. Blacks are probably somewhere in between Poles and Arabs. Still, the majority of young Germans are not racist and you can always find enough that will be attracted to you. My advice is that if you are planning to permanently live there, don't. Emigrate to Canada, or at least Australia or even the US (unless you are a South Asian since most Americans can't distinguish between "us" and Arabs, whom they detest).

Europeans seem to me to be much more open and non-racist than the average redneck american. Many black US soldiers like it here better than Ft Hood, texas, for example.

But what do I know, I have only lived here for 20 years.....

I must add that I am white, to be fair, but my non-white friends love it here too....
