This guy started a Facebook group for singles in the area. It's a more smaller town, so the membership is still in the double digits.

Quite a few relationship/dating memes have been going up lately, then he posted one that would only be funny....to men or something you'd only say in a group of men, but since it's a mixed gender....well, it wasn't well received by the ladies.

Something about how a "relationship doesn't start with a first kiss, but the first ...fart."

All the ladies reacted with comments of disdain. One expressed how her last relationship ended because her boyfriend acted like a caveman and one said that was horrible to say on a message board like that with women present.

He started backpeddling, apologizing and then he asked one of them if she still planned on going to an event later and she said, "Not if the men are going to be farting there!"

Hm, I dunno, what would make her think that...but...whatever. Not sure how she tied his meme to the fact that men of the group will be farting in her presence now. I think she even left the FB group. lol

Would you say the ladies overracted, or did they have a right to be disgusted by the bathroom humor?

Just goes to show how men love the stability comfort stage and women expert constant Disney movie stuff.

Yeah, I found it to be an unusual reaction since most of the community in the area is of a blue-collar variety where women, although they act like ladies, can at least chuckle at something like that. I mean, the area is all-out redneck in nature. So it was an unexpected reaction.
