This is funny. When a human does something that DOESN'T work, human usually either asks himself "what can I do better to make it work", or stops doing this? This guy's problem is that he didn't realize that what he's doing isn't working and didn't try to improve. He didn't try to get better photos (a fish photo, lol, what a way to attract women), or work on his physique. He didn't improve his text game - just one date from 2000 matches is crazy. You should get at least a 10% conversion rate from a like to a date even if your text game isn't peak. Even with his photos, with how many swipes he did, he should've ****ed at least 20 women (1% like to lay success rate is a pretty low bar). He basically tried to drive a nail into concrete with his bare hands for 5 years, lmao.

Anyway, those of you who want to get an edge with little effort - use AI, some of the tools allow you to get super high quality photos (so you can get a dog photo, a party photo, etc) for 10-15$ with some time investment with photos not looking like AI at all and your face and body being the same more or less.

One of my college classmates married a subpar looking woman after his first divorce from a mediocre at best looking woman. He also had multiple kids with that mediocre at best ex-wife. He had the baggage of the ex-wife who disliked him, multiple kids, Norwood Stage III, and slightly overweight. His looks dropped off big time during his marriage.

I think there is a realistic looks “floor” below which a guy can’t pull a short term lay at all, even if he lowers his standards.

I would estimate this floor at say 5.5. This is just a theory of mine. A 4 to 5 guy probably can’t even get his looks match for a quickie. (We also assume that neither sex will F a sub 4 because they can’t get hard/wet for that.)

The 4 to 5 chick will go online and hang in there for a 5.5+ guy. With all the male thirst, she can easily do this.

I think men's looks are judged more harshly than in the past.

In the past, women obtained fewer bachelor's degrees and didn't pursue white collar work as much. This changed in the late 20th Century. The early Millennial females that I grew up with during the 1990s and early 2000s were all preparing to work. When women work, they don't need a male provider with a slightly above average job anymore (something like a $75,000 - $149,999 per year job).

If a woman doesn't pursue education or work now, she can get government benefits and doesn't need a man for money either.

If a man is playing money game now, he needs more income to show off to impress women.

Since women don't need men as much on money now, looks are more important. Women are seeking the 6'0"+, fit/muscular man more frequently. Many have called this man 'Chad Thundercocck' or 'Chad' online.

A mid-tier looking man with a basic job (white or blue collar) is often going to fall through the cracks and get little attention.

Let's also keep in mind that this man was competing for women on swipe apps. Swipe apps are where women experience the most abundance. Tinder is 75% male (sausage fest) and Bumble/Hinge are only 65% male (a slightly less bad sausage fest).

Looks is not as important in guy if he goes for mid-tier females (not every single one wants to spin c-carousel in endless mode looking for chad or tyrone) - he could easily get 4.5/10 to 5/10 in looks female (so possibly even 6/10 in overall SMV) if he would change his profile photos, what he is wearing as well as description.

IRL game/connections would also suit him better.
