"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Ive been reading all these posts about making yourself more attractive to the ladies and Ive noticed that a lot of it involves dressing with 150 dollar jeans and necklaces. I think that approach works just fine but what about the whole skater/punk look? I can't stand to wear preppy clothing that every other guy wears. Isn't the goal to stand out? I'm not saying that a mohawk or full body tattoo's should be used or anything but I think that approach seems kinda hypocritical. When i walk down the street or through a mall or store, I notice that EVERY damm guy is wearing the same preppy abercrombie clothing that EVERY one else is wearing. A lot of it doesn't even present a masculine appearance. Ive seen more man come out of a pair of Empyre jeans and a black t-shirt w/ a studded belt then some button up shirt with a collar and some baggy ass jeans. Is this just me?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I think the point here is that first of all: You should feel comfortable with what you wear. Second: You want to find your own style. If skaterwear is what you enjoy, by all means: wear it.
Third: By the style you wear, you attract your goaltype girls. Skater chicks might be attracted to you wearing your baggy jeans, but the sexy HB at the office might not be.

So if you wanna go with skaterchicks you're cool, but if you really wanna get that office chick you might have to think about changing your style. That's all there's to it.

There is nothing wrong about dressing yourself matching the current season's fashions. I think there's something wrong with people spending way too much for apparel especially those who just start cashing out more than a quarter of their paychecks in a month to spend it on clothes.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Just copy Joe Strummer!

Yo! If you think abercrombie clothes look gay, (which I certainly do) and wanna attract both cool punk chicks and hot girls that otherwise wouldn't give you the time of day, do what I do- look at Old pictures of the Clash, the Specials, the Pistols, where the guys mix dirty punk gear with suits. you can get really expensive looking suits for cheap at Thrift stores, keep your docs and bondage gear on, and wear a tie and shirt that don't even remotely match. Cray sunglasses are cool, too.

If you pull it off the right way, you're gonna stand out both among skater dudes, for looking better, and dressy dudes for looking more bad ass. It works really, really well for me and I shower like once every 3 weeks.

Whatever you do, don't buy clothes based on brand, and buy what suits your body. I do great on a date with 15 dollar board shorts, a 7 dollar shirt, and 5 dollar slippers for a casual and comfortable feeling. The clothing needs to suit you, and that is all that matters.

I think what mportant is that both your styles of dressing complimennt each other. As we kno women love to show off their men which is why when they love a man they'd pick out clothes for him all they need to know is that you know how to dress IMO, like casual T-shirt jeans and sneakers on a casual night at the movies. Another night may call for soft pants and a sweater, another you might have to go armani or fromal whatevr. A man that can fit in and be comfortable in any inviroment is my best bet.

Abercromie & Beeeatch is NOT "preppy". Wtf are you talking about. J. Crew is Preppy. Banana Republic is preppy. A & Beeatch is kinda grungy - it's loungewear for East Coast people.

I see that you're from Washington State - you gotta realize that East Coasters have a different standard for dress.

wrong! NEVER EVER blindly follow the current season's fashion, unless it looks really good on you. Try to determine which color type you are and stick with it. My colors turned out to be white, light blue and red. And over here everyone is wearing pink, yellow and green. I won't, simply because I know I look beter in the non-season colors.

above advise I got from a girl, BTW.
