"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Recently ive been wearing hawii style shirts when going out to clubs, dont get me wrong since Ive started wearing them ive had about 4 one night stands the past 4 months ive been going out. The only problem the girl really takes the piss outta the shirts. I went home with this one girl ( who only seen me with my jacket on) took off my jacket and she said "HAAHHA I seen your earlier i cant believe ive came home with the shirt guy". Right the problem most of the girls ive pulled while wearing it are probably only 5-6s any tips on dress code?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Oh boy...

Ok before we go into what you should/shouldnt be wearing, think about what you have written...

You took a girl home, and only AFTER your took your jacket off, she realised that you were the goofy shirt guy. What does that tell you?

It is not your amazing sense of style that is taking these HBs home! It's you!

We live in a world where social programming plays a big part in women's lives and the media is the delivery mechanism of that programming. If you think back to some of the hottest guys on tv, films, etc... You will find that only the geeky, goofy, losers go out to bars/clubs in hawaii shirts. I personally dont have anything agains those shirts, but there is always a time and place.

Sure... there may be a "peacocking" factor here, but you are going about it the wrong way.

What you SHOULD wear really depends on your skin complection, your hair and your eye color and build. I would recommend reading some men's magazines and looking up some designer websites and deciding what best suits YOU.

Good luck

I don't like wearing them any more, but polo shirts work. I wear dressier clothes now a days, but I'm not sure how well you'd be able to shave your groove thing wearing some of that. Granted, I'm very comfortable in those clothes, but I haven't really tried shakin' it on the dance floor in them.
