"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I did the "typical, dreaded" dinner date. Yuck! I can't believe guys actually enjoy doing this ****. The good news is she paid a little over half. Mirroring didn't seem to have a lot of affect on her. She was in a closed guard with arms crossed at one point. I used some funny stories to defeat this negative body language. Palm reading worked beautifully as normal. She fell for all the standard stories. The waiter ws actually semi-cool, and kind of had her interest talking about wine.

The bad news? Her house turned out to be 45 minutes away, so my plan to suggest renting movies was withheld. I think I had a couple too many drinks and blabbed her ear off. The restaruant was really great, though. If I'm ever in this area again, I'd eat there myself :) The bar afterwards sucked, and I made a mistake by focusing on her instead of entertaining the bar. I thought maybe since she was older she'd respond more to that. bad idea. Next time I'll try entertaining everyone to show more value/make her friends bragg about me.

Lessons Learned:
1. Even older women place more value on how other people respond to you than how much you pretend to care about her crap.
2. Learn different kinds of wines before going out with affluent, older women. Know how to pronounce the names correctly.
3. Make sure there is some way to isolate or don't bother showing up. Venue change with no way to isolate=crap. Having to make another drive later is too much trouble. Always be able to fclose on the first date.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Just out of curiosity, out of your experience and knowledge, how often do fcloses really happen on first dates? cause I just can't see them happening, at least with girls around my age.
