I read somewhere dopamine is the neurotransmitter to do with pleasure and reward. If you see something as pleasurable, you are more likely to take action to get it.

Is there anything that one can do to help the body/brain/mind release dopamine? I am sitting here right now and the bedroom is a total tip. It has been the case for months. How can I for example in this case release dopamine?

Sounds like if I can get to the bottom of this and learn how to control dopamine, I (and you) can do anything we want.

No this is not a troll post. If I knew how to work the pleasure/reward system I'd be banging 10s every night of the week rather then dreaming about it. And it would help other areas of life too.

I would not recommend anyone to do drugs, its just not worth it.

By finding what you like to enjoy in life and going after or doing it. Basically stuff that makes you happy will get you more dopamine. Sex is the most common dopamine release, but even that has its limit especially when porn gets involved. Attraction is rooted from dopamine, that's why stuff like being playful and using kino are essential to getting women. Do what you enjoy, not women, and you'll have all the dopamine you could want. The reason why "you don't know how to work this system" is because you're mindset is limiting you. Being more positive equates to more dopamine, it may not be in surprising amounts like when it comes to sex but it's there. Dopamine = happiness = positive thinking = taking care of yourself = going after what makes you happy = makes you a better person and thus more attractive to women and a person that people would generally want to know.

And weed isn't called dope, heroin is called dope.

According to my dad, weed was more commonly called dope in the 60s and 70s but yes it has been changed to more commonly refer to heroin now. Get to know some stoners and druggies, but not the addicts, and you'll find out what really goes on. You seriously don't know what goes on just from "getting links from the internet." I can already tell that I've done and know way more people in that area than you do and I'm only 18.

Also, people don't even call heroin "dope" anymore as far as I'm aware of. Thats just the medias term. They just say "H," unless your a narc or just messing around. And I dare you to go buy weed from a dealer and say "Dope" instead, 99% of the time the guy will tell you to f*ck off because you might be a narc...

Drugs such as heroin does make you feel better but only for the very short term. Before you know it, its got you addicted, ****s up your life and the initial high and the good feelings are no longer there when you take it. It just make you feel totally ****. So therefore its just not worth it.

Looking on the net apparently you get a rush from doing pleasurable activities like sex and eating food. Apart from food and sex is there any other pleasurable activities out there?

Never said I knew more than the rest of the world but I clearly know more than you because obviously we have people who don't even smoke or do any drugs and thus call one thing another, and that's usually how narcs are discovered. Where I'm from, that's what we call it. Wherever '70s movie you're from, that's where you call it. I can understand your dad calling it that because he grew up in that time frame. I'm not going to go into too much detail because some of my friends still deal and have actually gone into prison for getting caught.

And I doubt you've even gotten high before let alone done any illegal drug before... At least try it before you judge it. And seriously, go up to a dealer and ask for "dope." I doubt he'll do anything violent except tell you to f*ck off.

You are missing the point entirely. Sure maybe street slang has changed, but weed is still referred to as dope (my original statement) yet you call me out because you think that you know better.

I would much rather call it what the successful people of the world call it (the people that wrote those articles) than what your druggie friends call it.

Ive taken 99% pure l-dopa (dopamine derivative) and it makes you feel good but if you abuse it then you will overstimulate those receptors and that leads to desensitization. Anything taken over 200mg should be cycled anyway.

well technically your wrong about the test dopamine thing, they kind of have a symbiotic relationship. Maybe a tad reckless of me to recommend. But Ill say from experience testosterone makes even reading this board obsolete. You just know what to do with women with the stuff running through your veins. Hey you only live once, I wouldnt begrudge anyone taking the stuff to improve their lives as long as they did tons of research on it.

I'm going to become a cop soon so it would only make sense for me to study up and understand the terms that people use nowadays when it comes to drugs, what better way is there than actually knowing people that do it? Definitely not using the internet to look up ancient slang and I'm definitely not going to bust the people that don't deserve it.

Those guys were having a good time more like... You know how many hot stoner girls there are? A lot, and I've only touched the brim of it my Senior year in high-school.

And how did you get the(what looks like a 2007) "GT Mustang" again? Those are also custom fog lights, maybe custom rims(these two might of come in a package not sure though), and what looks like a carbon hood... Definitely can't afford that($10k-15k depending on condition) on a minimum wage job in high-school unless you grew up in a privileged household. And even if you seriously put a carbon hood on a GT Mustang yourself just for "weight reduction" regardless of its 1600+kg weight... Then I don't know man. Muscle cars are still MUSCLE and muscle has always been generally heavy... Hopefully you didn't just paint the hood a matte black... Please don't be a RICER..!

Unless you're driving a GT500 Shelby Cobra, like the guy next to you, any other model of the Mustang is meant for off-track driving... Usually the more feminine crowd drive pony's anyway.

Your buddy seems like the one who actually DOES the hardworking... You seriously talk about your friends like that? My best friends an AFC but even then I still respect what he has to do to get by.

By the way, you can get some bad *ss cars for under or even at $20k. Ones that are blatantly better than a Ford GT Mustang '07(?) that's fore sure. Here's some at the top of my head: SRT10 Viper '03 = $20-$23k, Infiniti G35 Sport '07 = $12-$15k, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR $20k-$24k, Nissan Skyline GT-R R32-R35 $15k-$25k(not including import fee's), brand new VolksWagen Jetta $15k-$20k, brand new Honda Accord and maybe a Civic for more or less than $20k, Chevrolet Corvette '06 for around $18k....

I bet you drive an automatic too...

There's so much stuff you can get with even the lowest amount of money, it just takes a smart spender/investor. But enough of this car talk, all I ask is that you at least try and smoke some weed before judging everyone else who does. I can afford nice things because I work my as$ off and dont blow my money on stupid $hit like weed. I took my last year of high school online so that I could go out into the world and start working. I learned from a young age the value of working hard and being smart with your money.

My first car, an 05 v6 mustang was auto but the silver GT was stick. After that I got a Roush Nitemare. Sold that and got a 2011 mustang gt manual making 650 hp. This is the life I have gotten to live by not getting caught up in drugs like 90% of the people I know. Sure there's other factors, but a big part of it is being focused. I dont see too many potheads that I would call focused. Hell, I had a guy come in to work with me/assist me at my job a few weeks ago. Very obvious he was getting high on break or before work so he was let go after 4 days. No drive to succeed.

I take Mucuna pruriens powder. On the days that I remember to take it, I am noticeably more spontaneous and productive. It's also said to have nootropic effects (dopamine has many functions besides motivation; it is also related to memory and motor co-ordination) so I'm going to stack it with noopept soon.
