So, I was chatting with a female friend of mine tonight and basically we started talking about relationships.

She said the most interesting thing ever. Here is our convo paraphrased:

Me: blah blah **something about a girlfriend** blah blah
Her: hmm, I wonder why you'd need a girlfriend
Me: what? why
Her: because you've never really mentioned it.
Me: hmm...yea I don't really broadcast it. So because I haven't said anything I don't need a gf?
Her: well...it's just that it never seemed liek you needed one. You have a lot going on in your life.
Me: hmm...

Yea so this got me thinking. True I am a busy person, but has this hurt my chances? Because I have a life? Let me hear your thoughts on this.

Ya, she's right, you DON'T need a girl friend. And don't act llike it. It's a good thing. She didn't say you COULDN't get one, she said you don't NEED one. She just recognizes you got other **** going on, which is a good thing.

who cares
its her opinion. who knows if you need a gf or not. if you need a gf youre going to go find one regardless of what she says if you dont, then stay single. i wouldnt worry that much about what girls say.

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Well I do really well in school. I'm liked ranked #3 of 450 kids. I'm president of 2 clubs. I play varsity tennis. I play piano and guitar. That's about it.
