Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Lately there have been a lot of attention *****s coming on here, seeking the attention that they don't get in real life. By posting in their threads you are making them feel successful and thus letting them know that their threads do get them attention. They enjoy negative attention as well, so don't make fun of them either. I know I've been guilty of this before and I now realize how dumb it was.

If you don't want these people around here, which I'm sure you don't, just don't reply to them. Report the thread (hit the little red triangle looking thing) and just post "Reported." in order to let others know they don't need to.

If everyone follows these directions, we'll eradicate the forum of trolls very quickly.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

It should be noted that if you think the thread has been reported (like say if someone posts saying so) there's no need to clutter up moderators mail boxes with 10 reports for the same thead.

If everyone did their part to not feed particularly bad posters with posts they won't feel compelled to post them anymore. I can only close the threads, but I can't fix the problems.
