So I took this trip to overseas a few days ago for two weeks.
My friend was having his high school graduation/prom (They have it all at once) and I went along. The tradition they have is after all of the ceremonies everyone walks around the city all night until the sun comes up, then goes home.
During his ceremony, I went outside to go call my father and noticed that my phone got blocked, so I couldn't send/receive calls at all. So I just sat there, and then this guy with a group of girls approaches me and invites me to this nightclub that's really close by, so I go ahead with him. So on the way there I talked to him for a bit and we finally sat down, and I had a few shots of vodka (there pretty much is no legal drinking age there).
I decide to call my friend to see if his ceremony is over, and it turns out that they were looking for me! So they come and pick me up and take me back to school for dinner.
So at dinner, there is a long table of the graduates, all facing towards the parents, which were about thirty feet away at their own tables. I got to sit at the end with my graduating friend.
What happened was that they started popping bottles of champagne, and drinking and toasting. Pretty soon my friend started pulling out bottles of vodka and there were plenty of toasts.
After dinner, we went to the gym to go dance. I was a little drunk but not really feeling it. When everyone started dancing, I went back upstairs to have some more vodka, and went back to dance.
I don't really remember what happened after that, but I remember walking out of the area, and being put into a car, which I resisted heavily. I also remember calling out this girls name. Then I remember sitting on a bench at the bottom floor of my grandmothers apartment, with my friends around me, and my DAD there as well. He didn't know that I drink, until that point.
Then I was told that I resisted heavily being put into my grandmothers apartment. The last thing I remember was running to the bathroom to throw up.
I woke up the next morning with a bad hangover. Throbbing head, weak movements, slurred speech. I was still drunk. It took me a day and a half to be normal again.
Point is, DO NOT DRINK TOO MUCH. KNOW WHEN TO STOP.
