It seems that wifey wants the family life aspect of her husband (raising her children, "being there emotionally"), but has a desire to have sex with sexier men. And of course, with all the fatties around, men are looking around for a fit woman to bang.

I could only imagine a man writing this article: "I love my old bag wife, but I want to bed 20 year hot women". The reaction would be palpable!

From what I got of the article: you can clearly see the woman had to get her way, she got it, now the marriage is awkward.

Yeah, if they had done this from the start it would of been different, but she's basically telling him that he failed to fulfill her and hence her need to be with another man.
This is what happens when people don't take responsibility for their own fulfillness and happiness and expect someone else to cater to all of their needs. Common expectation in marriage unfortunately, from both people.
It's selfish for her to change the whole marriage in this way to have her cake and eat it to, but he is letting that happen and people do what you let them do.

I got to that point towards the end of a 9-year LTR. My exgf was h-o-t too, but I was absolutely sick of having sex with the same woman for so long.
