"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I'm not sure what to do here. I have a good rapport with this girl, as I've known her for years, but as soon as I became receptive to her increasing interest in me, she went cold. Said she didn't want to ruin our great "friendship" (I didn't realize that years of fluff talk and her flirting hard with me in front of her boyfriends, her ex-boyfriends, my friends, her friends, barkeeps, small animals, children, priests (dirty fvckers!) or alone, and me pretending like I wasn't interested counted as a great friendship. I mean, it's not like we ever sat around drinking cognac's in the study, discussing film, literature or the world's socioeconomic problems or anything.).

Basically, if anyone's ever seen the movie Head On, it was like when the two characters (who were involved in a fake marriage, and went about sleeping with whoever they picked up at a club that night), almost have sex, but the girl says "We can't do this, because they we'll officially be husband and wife", or some such. It's kinda like that, only instead of me going to jail for murder, I went AFC and now she seems to think I need her and that hole between her legs.

Now I've spent the last few weeks becoming increasingly vexed and despondent over the situation. I can't focus on anything, co-workers ask me if I'm "In love" (eww!), I blow off other girls left and right, and all I can think about is her.

I haven't spoken with her since saturday, and I don't plan on calling her anytime soon. I've deleted her number to avoid cracking and sending a text message when I'm drunk. If she calls me this weekend I'll try not to answer it, even though I have a habit of answering without checking the ID, but if I do "I'm busy tonight.".

Is this the way to go about things, hoping for the best, or should I just call her a ***** in public and be done with it?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

clasic example of interest in only the chase....

she wanted u when she didnt know were she had u but when she knew that u were interested she didnt want u that much , and thats when u really wanted her cuz ur the one after her now...
Its the cat and mouse game that we all fall into once in a while... even i have had that happen to me, but stupid me i spent one year chasing the same tail...

my oppinnion is that u just need to forget about her and move on cuz a situasion like that will only further mess up ur life...

uhm my opinion ... she's an AW...move on she's not worth it and it seems as if you have made the right decision. Do not call her a btch because that would be lowering yourself to her level

Oh man...RUN!

Trust us... Your feelings for her may linger for a little while but soon enough you will find a woman who is 10x better then her and this girl will give you a chance unlike your current AW.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
