Yeah, in my 20's it was purely about ass and I was not as picky about quality. Hot girls where everywhere. Now POF matches me with middle aged single moms working as secretaries. I'm a tech exec/management, advanced degree, well off, never married, no kids. I'm not exactly looking for low end women. You don't have to be a lawyer, but it would be nice to meet a girl that is not with children, divorced multiple times and working as a Pharmacy Tech....at 40...

I've considered meetup.com as an option. But I am such a homebody and hate going out. Hence why I have usually stuck to OLD and did great at it, even last year although they were all nutso losers in the end (not worth the drama). I need to figure out a venue or club that is comprised of people similar to me.

I did go to Yoga with a girl I'm dating and there are tons of attractive women there...but I hate yoga....maybe I should suck it up and try it for a few months and see. I almost met a couple chics over the course of 3 visits but alas, I was there with my date...she even commented that the girl from our last visit liked me.

So you are a homebody and hate going out. OLD sucks. But then you did yoga and found some datable women. You answered your own question.

Social environment that has women in it is your best bet. Obviously it was easy when you were in school. Now you just have to find it. Suck it up.

Doesn’t matter how many different ways you ask the same question, the answer is always the same.

It’s been the same damn answer since sosuave was created 20 years ago.

Everyone repeat after me.......”social environment with women in it.” You are not in college anymore. OLD generally sucks depending on your city.

What types of activities do fit and attractive women who most likely have careers like to do? Mostly physical fitness/arts/and volunteer stuff.

They’ve been there since the beginning of time. And they will continue to be there tomorrow and probably even 20 years from now.

Today I made a profile saying I was a man my ex's age.....I matched with the same type of women you described in your OLD experience.

I can see how I stood out to my ex in Fall 2018 when we met.
There's mostly single mothers, drunkard or "separated", overweight women with careless pics with the stupid sc filters who are actually selfdescribing as cat ladies or crazies.

I'm shocked there was no nondrinkers or childfree-by-choice, never married ones to be found.

Every single one looks like they rode the c©θ# carousel too many times.

It backwards encouraged me.

Getting fitter puts me even further into a niche choice. Although I promised my ex I would never go back on OLD as he convinced me its advertising your sex like an ad for a prostitute, I needed that experiment this weekend.

I see how revolting it is to see so much loose flesh in these profiles.

I feel I will stand out as unique from women in my generation by getting fitter. I own that and take this responsibility. I wish I had made the changes while still dating my love.

I didn't know what was out there for men my generation.
Might be best not to use OLD as the standard-too depressing for a guy, I imagine.

You can learn to like yoga, right jnMissouri?

Try all the different types of yoga at different locations, before giving up on that supply of women.

Highly damaged though. When they’ve been in the Industry until their age, they’re batsh|t crazy IRL……
Your perception of them is a porn induced fantasy.

@Black Widow Void in revisiting your post you seem to be asking about biology versus environment. Why would women choose not to have children.

I think girl power feminism and all that is a contributing factor. Children are a full time job 24/7/365 for 18 years if done properly. Some women prefer not to commit themselves in this way for career or other self directed reasons.

I know a couple or two who never had kids, travel the world together and enjoy great spontaneity and wealth (children are expensive) as a result. One couple married very young, they were both 18. They don’t regret not having kids. They have been happily married 32 years now.

They are both more vain and materialistic than many family types too, although I wouldn’t call them shallow. They didn’t want to make the sacrifices children require.

I think the question is complicated and must be considered at the individual level. I as an individual woman cannot speak for the collective.

Perhaps there is research on the topic.

Because we have some impressionable members (and also viewers that aren't members) on this page, I considered it necessary to point out a few of your statements.

If you date a never married no kids woman whose not in her 20s, the older she is the more likely there’s a reason nobody wifed her up.
I find the this to be the opposite. Women that value themselves do not need to be validated by hand-me-down teachings.
Also, I've dated just as many neurotic women that were divorced with children.

Most women 35 to 45 or 50 are going to have kids. That’s what normal well adjusted women do during those years is raise kids.
"normal" and "well adjusted" ? Again, we disagree. This isn't to imply that women that choose the conventional path are not "normal" nor "well adjusted." I'm stating that your statement is more subjective than conclusive. I base this on my own dating experiences.

Never married childless women are going to be mental cases in some way and older emotionally stable women are going to be mothers.
Getting back to the reason I'm offering my take on this (because I don't want impressionable viewers to take our words as gospel).
While you may be a female, I have experience in dating childless women and divorced women with children. Based on my experience, I disagree with your assessments.

The only 'middle-ground' we may possibly reach is:
Perhaps I'm choosing to date never married women of more higher caliber and the unmarried women you know are more of the 'low-hanging fruit' variety?

You know that expression, "there are plenty of fish in the sea"?

Well, when you get older, it becomes "there's still catfish in that pond."

No offense, but women have an annoying habit of making the most fundamental human activities sound like laborious tasks: "I had to do the laundry!" "I had to do the dishes!" "I had to clean the house!" "I had to go to the store!" "I had to cook dinner!"

In other words, you had to do the stuff I used to do on my DAY OFF, before I got married, but now you're making my Saturday to-do list sound like the job from Hell?

Kids always sound like a pain in the ass, before they're born, but they usually only really are if you let someone else raise them. Then, you're just housing someone else's kids. Let someone else raise them and you might find yourself living with strangers you don't even like. Might as well be boarding someone else's dogs.

Hi Missouri,
In my experience as one ages ones opportunities increase, not a little bit,but exponentially...Cat Fish? Not so...Don't ask me,be guided by Charles Talleyrand,Napoleons Philandering Foreign Minister he was hanging out with the Duchess Dino a formidable courtesan of his age,for good measure he ended up shvagging both her Mother and her Daughter as well...When asked about the relative attributes of the three,he opined that Grannie won hands down...As your own Benjamin Franklin said the beauty of an older Woman is her experience, and her gratitude.

Better Bachelor has a great video on this from two teen porn stars that got interviewed. They did seem damaged. Not saying that's the case for all of them, some of them literally are just *****s who enjoy it. One porn star apparently banged the entire film crew on set after the scene.

I don't think so as long as you keep yourself in shape as you get in your 30s, 40s, 50s. Remember, female attraction works differently than male attraction. Remember when you were in high school, college and mid 20s? Having a youthful glow with a full head of hair doesn't turn a woman on like we get turned on by youth and beauty in a woman.

Yes, never in your life will you be surrounded by such attractive youthful ***** than in college. However, it seems like 20% of the men get 80% of the women in college.

The super confident (or fake confident) good looking guys or the jocks seem to do well, but that's it. Most guys in college lack confidence and social status. This is by no fault of their own; since they don't have enough life experience yet.

I guess jocks do well with women since they have social status.

As men get older, we get more life experience (e.g more confidence) we become more comfortable in our own skin and build more resources (wealth). These are the things that attract women.

Also, cute/hot women have all the dating power in their early to mid 20's and most still do in their late 20's. This of course, is due to their youthful good looks.

However, once they hit 30, they know the clock is ticking and its all downhill from there.

An in shape confident guy in his early 30s, mid 30s, up to mid 40s is quite the catch to a still hot and single gal in her 30s.

So, the short answer to your question is, no!

No, I don't think your dating pool options get smaller as we men age. Just don't get fat and have a decent job.
I'm in my late 30's, fit, an 8/8.5 ranked by women I've been with or dated, highly educated, wealthy, high income and never married/no kids by choice. I'm also dominant and aggressive. Most women my age are fat, damaged goods with fading looks and multiple kids/divorces. While I date women 19-28 here and there, they are few, and some are flakey AF. Even then the OLD sites like POF don't match you with younger women usually, they match you with women around your own age or higher/slightly lower. Lying about my age on a profile produced more flaky results. Numbers sure, but none went anywhere. Some would text availability for a date then when I set up a time/take it never hear back. Or would hear back randomly 2 weeks later but same thing, disappear.

I scoped out meetup.com events and they are just sausage fests, with a few ugly women and maybe 1-2 hot women here and there. Friend of mine said his buddy had the same experience. A local dating service was the same, mostly young men and old undesirable women....with a ratio of 8 men to 1 woman.

Point is the dating pool of women you actually want does get smaller as you get older. I'm in my late 30's.

Its not that the dating pool gets smaller, its just that women past their late 20s are less and less attractive therefore its as they didnt even exist.

Also women below their 30s do not date guys in their 40s unless such guy is a top 10%...and probably she is not even a top tier in her age group.

Just like women should accept that past their mid 30s they are mostly invisible to men, men also have to accept the fact that good trades happen early and those who arrive late only find left overs.

Well of course unless covid19 turns our society into an unstable unsafe economies with no welfare...in that case better be strong and wealthy than young.

You will never get egotistical men to accept that. I have clients in their 70s dating 25 years olds because their ego won't let them admit they are being taken for a ride and they believe they are entitled to young and hot still haha. I see some of that in myself too.

I don't think that is 100% true about women below 30 not dating men in their 40s. I had a 21 year old chasing me when I was 41. My friend is 46 and currently talking to a 28 year old. Neither of us are rich, super good looking and top ten percent.

Half your age plus seven gentlemen

Keep yourself in good physical shape, getting a woman 15 years your junior is not something rare or unheard of.
