true, although most of the hot, good-looking, girls in their late teens and early 20's, i see them dating guys around their age and they look like they are in great shape, good-looking, are jocks, military guys(especially marines), and people argue all the time that women are not as visual as men, i guess there are some exceptions.

Most people date around their own age. But the older you get the less tied to age you are. People in their late teens and early 20s are a unique set of people, they're almost caught between adolescence and adulthood. Many in this group are still living at home, or going to school. Once you get to "real" adulthood, age starts to matter less, because everyone is just "adults".

No one has said women aren't visual, just that they're not as visual as men. And men are very visual.

I want to add two things:

1. Women do have an expiration date, as when they smash into the wall of undesirability, forevermore invisible to the men they desire, but men have no comparable expiration date, no biological clock, provided if he remains in shape and keeps his life together.

2. The way to game younger girls is to pre-emptively frame things that she is too young for you. If she is interested, she will try to qualify herself to you that she is worldly enough.

Younger men have some advantages over older men if they know what they're doing, but women fall much harder than men as they get older.

A lot of this cougar stuff is women trying to exert their newly won power, many studies confirm many advantages to the older man younger women scenario and what the cougars are attempting to do is turn the tables. However studies have confirmed no real advantages to younger guys hooking up with older women. Maybe for flings, in terms of long term relationships, the older male younger female scenario is one of the best combinations because it has been proven that it does in fact work.

What works for me is simply ignoring it. I honestly do not care about age, I just don't believe it matters. If there's attraction, there's attraction. I find that for the most part, if you don't care about it, she won't care about it. Just treat her like any other girl. If she feels the vibe that it doesn't matter to you, chances are it won't matter to her.

That would probably be hard for a lot of guys here because they seem to be very hung up on age.

If the girl brings it up, I just make a joke out of it. Agree and amplify, or you can do like Deep Dish says and frame it like she's too young for you. But as soon as I make the joke, I drop it, because it's genuinely not important to me.
