She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
People still think it's a 6 month quick easy job to getting a great body, they still don't know/accept that it's a few years of damn hard work.bigshot said:Its about the discipline and mindset to get muscular. It changes you, believe me.
What would you consider short?wutangfinancial said:muscular only helps when you have
1. height
2. a good face
If you have height and a good face, you don't even need to be muscular, you just can't be fat.
If your short, and you get jacked, you just look shorter.
So yeah, muscles are just the icing on the cake.
But a short dorky looking guy won't get girls with muscles...
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

MM
don't listen to that bull ****, my friend is 5'4 and muscular as hell and gets much more ladies than my other friends who are not fat but average/tall.muhuwahaha said:What would you consider short?
I am 5'9" and feel short as hell..seems as though every guy is taller than me and girls are always close to my height
who said it is because of oversized egos? maybe it's because we care about our health? Maybe we like strength? This comment is expected from those who lack the discipline and dedication to go to the gym and eat properly.Sandow said:Nah. as long as ur not obese girls really don't care
Guys that are obsessed with their bodies need to workout all the time to feed their oversized egos. It aint even for girls.
Brilliant. Clip and save. At least a few of you are starting to get it.Sandow said:Nah. as long as ur not obese girls really don't care

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

But here's my argument:
1) Every guy I've known personally who has done more than well with women (ex: could easily pull a new girl every week or two or establish a relationship with the snap of their fingers) was not buff or muscular at all. I'm sure they were substantially fit to a certain degree, but seeing them at the gym would be quite a rarity. Even some of the well known PUAs don't look very muscular (Mystery, David DeAngelo).
If you can do what they can do, then you don't need a muscular body to pull women.
2) I had a roommate that would constantly get girls and I would thus become jealous. Out of the jealousy I took myself to the gym and start lifting weights like crazy, this was a mistake. What I should have done with this jealousy was go out with my friend or on my own and talk to girls in person with him or alone. The weights did nothing but make me even more awkward by adding muscles on top of my awkwardness that I never overcame by talking to girls.
You answered your own question here.
3) The guys I see on the streets and on campus with girls are far from buff. They just have this look to them. I wouldn't exactly call this look confidence, but it's some sort of look I don't have. They seem to have really nice hair or a really nice clothing style. These guys seem content with their lives just by looking at them.
If you can have really nice hair and a really nice clothing style, and seem really content with your life, then you don't need a muscular body to pull women.
4) In several social circles at my school it's practically looked down upon to be a muscular guy. The guys that I see do well in these circles tend to be fairly short and incredibly social.
If you can be incredibly social, then you don't need a muscular body to pull women.
yeah but its easy for a woman to pay $5000 to have fake boobs...its hard for guys to work for muscles...imagine if girls had to work out to get their boobs big???? every girl would be flat. They have no idea how hard it is and how much dedication it takes. My Name is Nobody said:Of course it helps your game. Do you like women with big boobs or raisins? I imagine it's a valid comparison. I need to hit the gym myself and if I did I know I'd have much more success.
However you still need a good personality because a muscular AFC is still going to get rejected.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
