Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

This is my seond post and wanted to know if a Don Juan would ever forgive any woman for anything?

when breaking up will a don juan still be friends with the woman?? (assume he is walking away because she cheated on him)

Im sure Don Juans too get cheated on right?? no one can rule out that possibility...

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Yes, someday, months and months, maybe years, down the road, after you've peiced your life back together, it is a great thing to forgive and be friends. It lifts a huge load off your back.

THIS IS NOT saying forgive the hor and get back together so she can do it to you again! Oh and DO NOT EVER EVER try to be friends after a breakup! Wait a LLOOOONNNGGG time.

I wouldn't necessarily wait a long time especially since it's a huge load off your back. Holding onto it is basically carrying baggage. Understand that forgiving doesn't have to be about the other person. Forgive the person for your benefit (dropping the baggage), not theirs. Besides, forgiving them and letting them realize that you've moved on is very uplifting. However, moving on doesn't mean keeping things as they were before, they aren't. The two of you shouldn't be anything more than acquaintances otherwise you will hold onto the baggage that will make your life very confusing.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

How much more obvious do I have to make it?

FDA pretty much summed it up.

To add my own: You can forgive a woman pending on the offence. We are all human beings and sometimes we do stuff or say stuff that could hurt someone in the heat of the moment. It is up to you to decide if its worth it. Things that you should consider:

a) how big was the offence and will she do it again?
Cheating is a big enough offence to not see them again, since there is nothing left to fix and she already moved on to another branch so its a sign that so should you. If it wasn't anything major yet she still finds different ways to cause same sh1t or disrespect you then she ain't worth it.

B)what did she do to rectify the offence?!
If the offence wasn't big it doesn't mean she is left off the hook. She alone has (without you saying it) make it up to you. Whatever it is cook your favourite meals, or be your sex slave for the weekend, she has to show that she is really sorry and she did something stupid and now she is going to fix it. Many women can scream and yell at you, call you a SOB, storm off and then come crawling back to you 3 days later all crying and appologetic ready to make it up to you. Interest level is the key here.

For christ's sake, why are you trying to fill this damn Don Juan quota? Don Juan was a fictional character and a b.astard anyway....just do what you think is right.

Be a MAN...a "don juan"...wtf is that anyway?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

A man is a man.

Don Juan is just a pronoun.

Abide by the rules. Don't think for yourself. That's why the rules are set in stone.
I suggest you start using Mr Rolly eyes  as I do.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

And how about a TRUE women, what does she do, does she carry on and assume since he as forgiven she wont do it again, or does she now think she as a ticket to bad behaviour now which is it.

i can answer the question actually:
A true women would learn she as crossed the line, ACTUALLY a true women would have not crossed the line to begin with, so the question in a real relationship that should not come up imo, now this is for things where it is clearly a huge issue and not something like not doing the washing up or her forgetting a date arrangement.

So lets say a TRUE women is one that messed up for some reason:
She rocognized she fuc*ed up and now is trying to correct it, then granted a true man if it is in his interest to forgive, could forgive, but no MAN should be expected to forgive simply to fit into a 'real man always forgives' slot.

A real man to me would waigh up the situation and think about the impact it as had on him and the relationship and waigh up the best situation and then attribute forgiveness on what he percieves it to be, not automaticly try to get a badge of 'forgive to be a true man' much like the try to get a badge of 'D J'.

Anyway as RT said.

no point dragging around baggage it will just slow you down and add another complication to your life!

that is why i would suggest depending on the mans original path to stick to it, ie if she as crossed the line and made something rather hard to ignore and threatens the balance of the relationship and he decides to walk, only a fool would go back for round two when it would be clear, nothing as changed apart from the man trying to slot into 'a real man would forgive' badge slot.

trust me i have slotted into the ideal of forgive man.
It as always and i mean always been just as shi* as it was, from the situation i left.

And lets get something cleared this is not a one time deal this is alot of relationships.

A women from my experiance even if forgiven, will still in time go back to her old ways, just remember that if what she did was very hard to ignore.

i have found, each time the always after a certain amount of time, when comfort as settled back into the relationship always go back to the bad behavoiur, but i guess this is the MANS fault and not the womens, right?

Dont keep bagage, it will only complicate your life.

I agree with this... something along the lines of "I forgive you, I just don't want anything to do with you."

Does a Don Juan ever forgive....what?

The likelyhood of forgiveness depends on the crime. Did she set off a bomb in an orphanage? Did she forget your birthday? Did she break a plate? Did she put a dent in your car bumper?

If she accidently drops your favorite CD & cracks the case, and you are like all: "You BEYOCH! I can never forgive that! Get out of my life for ever!" Then you are a stupid jackass.

If she sleeps with your best friend and you forgive her...then you're still a stupid jackass.

I say let the punishment fit the crime.

lol....no.

Whats the point in asking that question though? The whole point of this site is to improve yourself in all aspects after which point you will be a don juan...not to do what someone says a DJ 'should' do...thats b.s.

Do what you feel...if you truly are a don juan...you'll make the right decision.

Plus each case has to be taken on its merits. Its too broad to just say, "a DJ never forgives" or "a DJ always forgives"...living you're life with a set of rules like this is ridiculous.
