Let's say you have a LJBF situation

and you make an obvious attempt to make her jealous, by mentioning a date you have upcoming and go into detail about it ..I mean it's an obvious over the top attempt, but it also happens to be true

is it still effective at creating jealousy

No, the reality is that you want revenge for being rejected. Even assuming that your true goal for making her jealous is breaking out of the friend zone, it's still a waste of time. Why not put the first one out of your mind, and concentrate on the chica that's interested in you?

it IS possible to break out of the LBJF zone (assuming there was some attraction in the first place). But you would have to be a master game player to do it - and it will take a long time.

Best to spend your time more effectively. If you have someone who's "just a friend" then let it be as it is. There are plenty of ladies in the world, why waste time hitting on one that has a LJBF mindset. If she's going to come around she'll do it on her own.

I ran into her yesterday at the store. she had quite the little attitude.

I think it's time to pull the plug and work on the girl showing interest,

I think ganji works, it has for me 90% of the time, I always end up going soft when the contact resumes.
