Master Don Juan
Hi! Johnny here!
As most of you know, I'm an artist.
Right now I work from a small studio, and I recently started a small drawing group for people who simply enjoy drawing together.
At the moment we're five people, two men and three women, all around the same age.
Something I've noticed is how different the group dynamics are.
For example, drawing is all about focus. The atmosphere is quiet, slow, and centered on concentration, technique, and patience.
Then, a fitness group is almost the opposite. It's built around physical effort, energy, encouragement, laughter, and shared excitement.
They're two completely different environments of course, so, do you think the type of group you spend time in can affect the chances of creating attraction?
People often talk about running groups or exciting, even slightly risky, activities. The idea is that an elevated heart rate and strong emotions might become associated with the people around you, rather than just with the activity itself. This is what I've read somewhere about women. They would associate the emotions they feel in that moment with the guy they're experiencing with.
I've always found that fascinating.
Think about a personal trainer leading a class of ten people, five men and five women. He show leadership, but He also benefit from an environment that naturally involves physical interaction, high energy, and emotional engagement.
Now compare that to an artist leading a drawing group with the same number of people. The artist also demonstrates leadership, but the group's attention is directed toward concentration, creativity, and individual work.
The social and emotional dynamics are very different, and it seems much less common for the same kind of attraction to develop.
What do you think? Can the environment itself influence attraction?
