It's a valid point and seems to be the only main bias on most of the ads out there. Unless you can point any other bias on ads that exists, and not one or two isolated ads, but on an extreme level like that, then I'm all ears.
It is actually the only example because you don't really see any other types of restrictions. This affects roughly half of the ads. Of the ads where it is not mentioned, you wonder if they forgot to put it in. In fact to feel somewhat safe, ads that say "no discrimination or accepting all nationalities" are not even written, or that include "blacks welcome". Those types of ads are very far and few in between. It underscores that there is an ugly undercurrent of racism in society.
They took down backpage last year in April or so. They now have leolist or listcrawler to replace those.
Why don't you google and see what race of guys gets the most replies or success with online dating. It's a double-whammy being incel and also being discriminated against at the same time, yet, most actual incel attacks are by white people.
Yeah it was just the race thing I remember reading about. I think someone referenced weight or something but the race one was what seems most prominent.
For sure, they are not super selective because it’s a job, but they can refuse if they want to, basically being a hooker doesn’t mean they have no say in who they sleep with (unless trafficked). And certainly, a guy who can’t get a hot girl in normal dating circumstances can punch above his weight by paying an attractive hooker to sleep with him.
But regarding this motivating women to step in line, I’m not sure about that. Sleeping with a hooker is not the same as sleeping with a woman who genuinely wants to sleep with you and is attracted to you.
Also a hooker is not interested in you as a person, your hopes and dreams, how your day went etc, they won’t be sending you soup if you’re sick or making you a meal, they are not interested in falling into your frame. It’s a job to them, and they are only as invested as the time they have allotted to you before they meet their next job.
Women, I don’t think, will be too concerned about men going to hookers who have no real interest in them as people anyway. This is not a threat to women. Now, if those hookers wanted to LTR these guys and offer hooker quality sex and exclusivity and devotion, then maybe that will be more of a threat lol.
But I think legalizing it is a good thing, it can reduce stigma and I can see how it can help build some sexual confidence and is an outlet for guys who may be struggling to get laid and a good option for guys who only want sex and nothing else from women.
