In light of the recent conviction of the Chad-tier rapist who got off without any prison sentence, the only think I can come up with is that these defendants are so ugly that it was OVER for them even before the trial:

No. They were convicted of murder because the case became politicized and the jury was threatened with violence. They may be guilty of manslaughter but certainly not murder.

Guilty of murder. Hunting human beings is murder. Point blank period.
You forgot to add "case closed", "end of story" and perhaps a few other cliches to make your point sound more persuasive.
