my opinion: Like a lot of young men, Watson is a very horny man - but unlike most every other horny man, he is very wealthy, and so he figured that he could satisfy his urges by EscortMaxxing. However, unlike just about anywhere else in the world, he lives in a femynist/Puritanical society, and thus can't simply order in for personal services - and somehow got imbued with the idea that all massage parlors that have rub & tug service, and thought that his aggressive sexual moves were part of JohnMaxxing. And it wasn't until these masseuses found out that he was a wealthy professional athlete that he started getting lawsuits, and started realizing that he was not supposed to do that. In any case, if he were living somewhere where there was a brothel in the area (e.g., like in Vegas, where the brothels are within an hour's drive of The Strip), he would have just whipped out his credit card and have at it. In a place like Germany, e.g., he could have availed himself at the sauna brothels, etc.
