"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Do you think that having a girlfriend make you more attractive to other girls or the tought of you cheating on her may repulse them?

At first I tought that having a gf is great in terms of preselection and competition instinct among women but recently I noticed some kind of "sisterhood feeling" where women feel not only repulsed but even vengeful toward guys which harm other women and they make a point to themselves and other women to pay him back.

It seems like women are becoming more like men even in contempt against certain behaviours.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Having a girlfriend is an aphrodisiac to women because:

1. It shows you can attract other women
2. It shows you are loyal
3. It shows that you have a life and aren't beta.

Many women seem to only go for guys with girlfriends. Usually, at least where I live, if you're single it's a huge turnoff.

It takes money to make money. The rich get richer. It's easier to get a job when you already have one. Women ain't no damn different. If you walk around single, it's that much tougher to attract women. If you have a girlfriend on your arm, it shows you're preselected and have something of value.

Women love value. And they talk.

Case closed.

Not having a "girlfriend," per se but having women around you (especially hot and attractive ones,) makes you more attractive to the next chick for feasons that have already been stated.

I think having a girlfriend is overrated and you don't get any extra points with her friends in a social circle if the relationship doesn't work out and there is a break-up.

In my experience of having a gf last year, or girl(s) interested in me (i.e. but I'm not pursuing them because they are too old or have a bf), has no influence at all in attracting any other women at all into my life. The best impact it did have was I may have connected on a social level with her friends. But after the break-up (which I initiated), everything was wiped out and to this day there is nothing good to show for that relationship.

Even so, if you had a gf, it doesn't mean, all of a sudden you are a celebrity and women are going to open up to you everywhere you go. It's the other way around, isn't it? If lots of women likes you then chances are you'll have a gf unless you are just playing the field. It just boils down to looks and what you have to offer out there.

Most of the times in relationship, I felt only my gf loved me and I didn't really connect with anyone else besides her. All I felt like was a loner in a relationship with her friends tolerating me because of her, but not liking me for me, like she did. In terms of connecting with women in general (ie. outside her social circle), I didn't see any appreciable difference being with her last year verses being single now, or before I met her. Believe me, if I noticed something, I'd remember it because I've been single most of my life. I didn't hug any of her friends, or even hug any other woman for that year.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I lie about having a gf to my female coworkers and now all of a sudden they are treating me differently.

Yes because women for the most part have a pre-selection mentality, they want what other women want way more than we men want what other men want

No doubt that, all else being equal, the guy with a gf is more attractive than a single guy.

But what I think the OP is getting at is... "Is it easier for a guy with a gf to hook up with other girls, or are women so against cheating that having a gf makes it more difficult to hook up?"

I'm not sure of this one.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
