Do you think Generation Z is so conservative because earlier generations of femynists had withheld their genes from the gene pool?

my opinion: I have an evolutionary biology theory. The femynists didn't need and otherwise hated men, and thus didn't procreate; perhaps they got married, but a lot of them divorced, etc. The normal women in their cohort did need and otherwise liked men, and thus did; they got married, but stayed married. Ergo, the remaining genes in the gene pool were biased towards being more deferential to men, with there obviously being a strong correlation between being deferential to men and having an instinctual conservative personality. It's a lot like the Siberian foxes (no, not the hot Russian women that live there, ) that were the product of many generations of keeping the foxes that showed the most deference to humans, such that eventually these foxes developed personalities like a domesticated dog (even their ears drooped!).

Fourth Turning looks at how generational cycles in Western society have essentially be running in cycles of four. Understanding the interplay between each generations "archetypes" explains quite a bit.

Also, the guys who wrote that book back in the nineties are the guys who coined the term, "millennial."

Not an easy read, as they slog through a lot of history, but it's pretty eye opening. They also predicted (in the book written in the 90's) the current economic catastrophe we're currently in the middle of.

This happens every time there is a "fourth turning," or another 80 year cycles ends (each cycle is made up of 4, 20 year generational cycles) and another 80 year cycle begins.

Every time there is a serious "event" that kinds of resets everything.

I think gen Z is conservative because they are disgusted by their elder millennials and don’t want to be anything like them. A quote from my gen Z 15-year-old daughter in reference to transgenders “You want to know what sex you are? Pull down your fvcking pants and look!” Her boyfriend is 17. They have both said openly in front of me that if the other ever smokes weed they are dumped. They can’t stand it. I think gen z has a hell of a lot more hope than the millennials. My opinion.
