I was reading about this femynist with a PhD in Gender Studies who allowed a dirt-poor 3rd-World man knock up, and it got me thinking:

Perhaps this is a bit anecdotal, but it seems that whenever I read about a strong femynist that actually has a man in her life, typically he is low status, perhaps with some defect like a disability, etc. It would be cognitively resonant that a woman that hates the way that women in general supplicate themselves to attract a high quality man would choose to not pursue such a high quality man, and hence they end up with a man that a regular women would consider far below her sexual market value.
Of course, it could be causality in reverse - i.e., that a femynist is so abhorred by men who have options in who to date/mate that they are left with the absolute bottom of the barrel, and they conveniently try to promote that they freely chose to go with such a low-status man to hide the truth that that was the best that they could do.
