A lot of service members kill themselves over this too. The number one killer of marines in suicide and if they were over dead in a combat zone, a lot of times they think of their wife or girlfriend to get them through, so when they come back and find out whT happened...

When I was in my infantry training battalion, they told us to break up with our girlfriends before we get deployed because she will be the same as you left her when you come back, freshly fvcked.

The instructors would always say don't get married, and fvck women litterally and figuratively. They even told us a storiy about degrading a prostitute, a barracks whovre.

This is not something new. Look back at the Vietnam era. 18-20 year old young men were deployed to fight a battle on the other side of the earth. Meanwhile, their gf's and wives cheated on them with the draft dodgers and scared pvssies that found every way imaginable to not get enlisted.

Those that didnt get a Dear John letter in the mail while overseas came home to find their sweethearts and their new liberal bf's yelling at them and spitting on them when they stepped foot off the plane and their feet touched US soil again.

How long will the person be deployed? If you can visit every 4 months then IMO its doable. Also,
I would leave it at a "Open" relationship. I had a woman propose this to me, because she was a flight attendant, so it made sense since she was constantly away. Looking back I should of just agree with her but I got instantly attached, she was so hot. scale of 15, not 10. With a Psychology Degree.

Here's something I recently learn, some may not agree, but - She's human too. Would be it so hard to accept the reality and know she could end up having sex with some one else? Can you be man enough to get passed it? I think and probably can. Think about Porn stars or strippers, would it be any different? Some are married. I dated a stripper and not embarrassed to admit it. Took some emotional strength, but it can be done.

If a person is leaving for a "long" term, you seriously cannot be selfish and expect someone to wait on you? Unless you propose and make every effort to stay in touch. IMO It is possible. Gentleman, if you find yourself in this position, then learn the ropes, don't demonized the woman.
