What is ‘shrekking’?
The term comes from people joking that they’re “dating their Shrek.” Yes, that big green guy with the accent. Basically, it means deprioritizing looks, settling a little, or even intentionally going for someone you aren’t conventionally attracted to.

This would actually be a shrewd move for MOST young women who desire marriage and 2.5 offspring to make.... Recognize that

-They're solid 6s, at their most glorious*

And

-Those daydreams of living just like a Kardashian aren't even worthy designations like "far fetched" and "improbable"

Then hook up with decent guys, who'll be dependable husbands and satisfactory enough fathers, even if it not especially glamorous fellas


*I don't even say this as a criticism of the ladies either .. Most of us men(myself included) similalry aren't world-renowned male models, and at some point make our peace with the fact that we won't be boning the day's hottest actresses. We've all got to embrace the facts, preferably sooner rather than later
