Austin has had an oversupply of males for a long time. Its a tough mating market for a lot of reasons.

There are many SJW and feminist women in Austin. It is not a coincidence that feminist dating app Bumble chose Austin as its headquarters.

More and more aspie tech guys are flooding the market. The combination of aspie tech guys and SJW/feminist women is bad. It's a lot like San Francisco.

It's due to being a Military town, Navy and Marines. Basically a bunch of young and dumb hornball men being imported there. Nothing against those guys, I'm a vet myself , but the supply and demand makes 6's think they're 8's.

I'm glad I never lived there. Many years ago, I had heard about the sausage fest reputation of San Diego (aka Man Diego).

There were tons of hotties on the beach in the 90's but they've been dwindling over the years

I can tell you about the downtown, it's turned into a sh1thole because of this^. Last time I was there, almost went fist to cuffs with some dude who was standing in the middle of the street barking orders at random people.
