As noted previously in this thread, my son has a "trad wife". She just bore his first child, is breastfeeding, staying at home cooking, baking, cleaning and being a full time wife & mother
Unions like these can be achieved, caveat here being that even among gals who wear The Trad Wife mantel, there exists a wide array of opinions on
-How many kids are desirable
-Breastfeeding vs bottle
-Homeschooling vs enlisting the services of high-priced prep institution
-Bringing in outside aid for housekeeping, even if only occasionally
-What constitutes "appropriate" swimwear, for both the missus and daughters who might come into the picture
Etc Etc
The onus is ultimately on the man who thinks he's a viable candidate for being a Trad Husband to lay out HIS definition of a Trad Wife to the chick he's thinking of walking down the aisle with, seeing whether or not she shares that exact same definition
OP has something approaching a point: Yeah, if you're not currently pulling in 6 figures + Or at least firmly en route to doing so, pulling off The Trad Life is going to be an increasingly daunting task, ESPECIALLY for those living in major metropolitan areas, who aspire for the woman to remain barefoot and pregnant
For many folks, this isn't remotely practical from an economic standpoint. The vast majority of women on this planet are going to have hold down some sort of employment. Even in nations like Saudi Arabia, more and more dames are taking telemarketing gigs and other vocations that can be done from home
