Do you really think that a remarried single mommy would sex up the kid's dad?

There was an interesting response to a posting I had about single mommie - in which basically it is speculated that a single mommy would be so bold as to sex up the bio dad (in secret) when he would come by for his visit. My goodness, wouldn't a single mommy think that upon securing a provisioning step-dad, that she should not do anything to jeopardize that situation? To do seems like a very irrational move.

But then again, such a single mommy probably did not care to date (as a maiden) the type of man that she would only want as a step-dad once she got into her predicament. And I suppose, in the biological long run, the fact that she produced spawn with the bio dad first means that she considers him more worthy than any subsequent provisioning stepdad, only putting up with putting out, and perhaps even gestating one of his own spawn for the purpose of solidifying his commitment to provisioning for her real favorite spawn - that from the initial man impregnating.

I think that's assuming a lot. I know that's the way they would have you believe things are around here. But it's not impossible that she is genuinely attracted to the new guy.

This scenario kind of assumes that the first guy is an alpha - which he may not be, he may just be some dumb kid who got her pregnant. And that the second guy is an AFC Herb type. Again, not necessarily, even if the guy did marry a single mother.
