"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

today I was talking to this girl, she seemed very interested. unlike most women who pretend they have a life and walk away, she actually stayed and would not walk away. so respectful. had sticky eyes. I guess I was caught off guard becasue most women are rude so I didn't know how to handle someone who is not rude? everything was going well until I found out she is 15 years younger than me. then I told her "that might be too young for me" and suddenly my age became a problem for her and she realized I am too old for her. I don't know why I said "you are too young for me" it just felt weird me dating someone that young, I felt like those old creepy men. I also wanted to be fair and upfront with her so she doesn't think I am around her age. what do you do, you just don't bring it up?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

As long as you're both adults I don't see a problem. Depends on her maturity level too. I'm married and in my 40s but if I were single and dating, I would date women in their 30s, 40's, and 50's. Would avoid the 20-somethings as they tend to be very immature, especially these days.

The was a wasted opportunity.
Imagine meeting a woman that was 15 years older that rejected you because you were too young for her.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

This is not a big deal for me at all. I would be very excited by having a girlfriend who is 10 or 15 years younger. I'd never say anything about the age difference.

15 year age differences are pretty normal when it comes to men being older than women and there's no reason it can't work out. When it's inverted, that's where the problem starts.

The next time that happens, if the age issue comes up, you need to respond with this:

“ Yes, I know… the age issue. I’ve been concerned about it too. But I just want you to know that even though I typically date women younger than you, I will make an exception in your case.

I don’t have a problem with it but some women do and they think out loud about it ad nauseum . I’m not sure how to overcome that without coming across as chasing so that’s usually my cue to move on and find another girl
