"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Christmas is coming up, what are you guys planning to do with your girlfriend? Also, is it chode to buy your girlfriend inexpensive gift. My gf got me a cake for my bday, and I didn't get her anything for her bday I felt bad, haha. so, I'm thinking of getting her something small for Christmas to make it up to her, but I know buying gifts for your gf is frown upon in the community.

i got my chick sox and a water bottle for her birthday

she got me a ps4 and 300$ watch neither of which i asked for or even wanted...even told her to return. oh well.

I told everyone im not buying **** for xmas this year and I dont want **** for xmas this year

if you have a serious GF one thing I would buy her is a moderately priced but expensive looking piece of jewelery...a necklace, ring etc. Something she feels a connection with you with and would mean alot. i call this a charm item. And pretty much thats all ill ever buy her.it will be special, hold meaning and value to her.
^this doesnt mean it has to be for an occasion...infact its better if its spontaenous/random

Don't buy her anything expensive. You end where you start. When I was with the mother of my son for the first Christmas I bought her a purse and Pandora. It cost me close to 400$. Next Christmas she wanted something similarly priced. So glad she's gone for this Christmas lol

Julian had a great suggestion.

I think it depends on what she is used to. My ex always got crappy stuff from her x husband. I bought her some 100 dollar gold earrings for Christmas and could tell something was off. I think I was downgraded for spending a small amount of money. If a woman is used to being treated like **** that is what she expects. If you do something a little better than what she is used to you are seen as lower value.

I'm buying her a day at a spa as a combined christmas and bday gift, her bday is 10 days before christmas. It's a bit expensive, but she deserves it for being very undemanding. She bought clothes, a beer glass, a beer (exclusive type), bought me dinner and denied me to pay for anything on my bday.

She explicitly told me not to buy any type of jewelery as she doesn't wear it, so a day at a spa it is. I'm sure she's gonna love it.

Buying gifts for your girlfriend isn't wrong, what may have given you that impression on here are the discussions about buying gifts for undeserving girlfriends.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I told mine not to get me anything, but she got all whiny "but it's our first Christmas together!!!" I said fine, get me something cheap. I have a couple of things in mind for her, won't cost me more than $30. I've only been with her for six months, so jewellery is out of the question.

For christmas my girl and I each contribute 100 bucks to the "travel fund." Same with the anniversary, valentine's day, and birthdays.
