Is it just me, or does it seem like women have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to a man expressing any kind of weakness?
Examples:
1) If you're sad that you lost you're job, you're not strong enough for her.
2) If you're sad that your grandmother died, you're not strong enough for her.
3) If you're sad that she doesn't love you, you're not strong enough for her.
I know that in the old days women understood that by boosting her man's ego, by letting him know she supported him no matter what, that it ultimately made their man stronger, and in the process it made her relationship and herself stronger as well.
But these days, doesn't it seem as though they are holding us to impossible standards? Sorry girls, but I still get depressed once every 60 days or so.
