"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

i watched goodlookingloser's vid on do what you want.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jMxCyE1xfg

i have a hard time applying this. trust your instincts, it comes down to my thinking vs my instincts. this has brought me into a great conflict within myself. ive discovered that i overthink everything i do. im neurotic as hell. when i do something i often waste time doing unnecessary things.
for example i went to walmart a while ago to buy some paint. im taking up a new hobby spray paint art. im cheap so i didnt want to get many colors. after a while of debating i said fvck it and bought all colors i wanted and left. i did what i wanted and now im happy.
after all that bs was over i saw this hot blonde not far away. i stared at her a$$ while she reached up to a shelf. i noticed she had some rings on and figured she was married but i wasnt close enough to tell if it was a band. so i got worried and didnt approach. i WANTED to approach but i didnt.
i think i fvck myself most of the time. i saw this girl from my class in the gym yesterday and i didnt approach because she was with friends playing volleyball. i wanted to but....

i know that you cant always do what you want. its how to apply it that is my problem. i COULD HAVE approached both of those. if i did i may have gotten totally shot down. i regret it but i also hate rejection. when do you do what you want and when do you not? whats you input on this?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
