"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Do some women prefer spinsterhood?

I live kind of in a suburban area, about an hour north of the big city, and about a half hour north of me, areas get remote and towns turn into communities to where you can drive through it, blink, and you're in an out of that town.

There's a couple of women in my area that live in such areas and I almost swear they prefer remaining unattached than get involved with anyone. They aren't too bad looking either, but I'm thinking there's no man, even the attractive ones...they would consider dating.

In fact, they avoid social situations altogether that would even give them the opportunity to meet other men, and by doing this they spend time with extended family members instead like cousins, spending time with nieces and nephews...as some kind of replacement for a man.

It's like they've written off being involved with ANYONE. They wind up being the black sheep of the family, the single Aunt and replaces her time with men with members of her family, ie - spending time with nieces and nephews are more important to them than any kind of social life.

In their 40s, they sadly still socialize with their high school friends sometimes...but not open to meeting new people.

This one I recall posts bitter, but humorous post memes on her FB profile, one showed a cartoon of man talking to a woman asking her, "Isn't it always a woman's dream to find a man of her dreams?" and she said, "No, a woman's dream is to eat all she wants and not get fat!"

One showed a meme of a guy pointing a gun at cupid saying "Do not touch me!" an implied bitterness if you will. She's kind of cute, but it's kind of a shame, too.

I don't think you'll ever see men get to this point in life, as they are always the pursuers, right? Unless they are getting their needs met via an FWB situation, they'll never do this.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I think it has almost nothing to do with them prefering spinsterhood, they probably have got trust issues and are afraid of attachment/commitment due to childhood trauma or other trauma.

For what you are describing yes, look up MGTOW. There's various levels from my understanding. Even to the extreme I believe were they want nothing to do with woman.

They probably realize that there is nothing of what they want available so just drop it all.

Imagine you hitting a restaurant and being told that the kitchen is close cause its late but you can get a cold salad.

Would you still go and sit or just drive back home and make youself a sandwhich?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Makes sense.

I wondered why some decent looking older broads have simply given up on men and basically gone full WGTOW.

Some older women in their 40's or 50's may have had so many failed relationships and heartache, they have given up trying and find their life simpler and happier that way.
Cue in the cats or a dog for companionship at that point…

It has to do with the market available to the women. Having had experience living in a very small town I could see how women could arrive at this place in life.

In a place like that all the good guys are married and the ones who are single have issues (or they would be married.) They may be too old, too dim witted, not sexy, too ugly, too strange....on and on....even the men with money.

I don't date the small town men. They don't begin to meet my criteria. I date men from larger areas where there are attractive people in my desired age range who fit what I sort for.

I would not settle. Why on Earth would anyone want to be with someone they find repulsive in some way. That's far worse than being single in my book.

I'd move somewhere with better prospects if the man situation was that awful but some people prefer to complain rather than do something about it.

That's really what it is. Complaining but not willing to change venues/relationships with men not that important. If sex isn't a priority (it's not for some women), then they may be perfectly happy but lobbing the occasional meme because society still stigmatizes single women after a certain age as unable to get a man, even if there aren't any men around worth getting. This is especially true in small towns where gossip is a given.
