"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Any interaction with a woman that is not face to face is POINTLESS. First there is NO WAY she will have ANY attraction for a man until she actual sees him in person. Until you actually meet her you are less than nothing to her. I don't do online dating, but if I did all I would be doing is trying to make dates. If she won't meet you, then just move on.

All this stupidity of trying to build attraction with women you have NEVER met, over a computer, is a waste of time.
The possibility of attraction over the internet may be difficult to imagine, probably mostly to people of the older generations, but it is a thing which should not be overlooked. Albeit somewhat immature, dating for my generation (90s babies and younger) often focuses on making initial contact through social networks like Facebook. This is followed by a period of conversing (which may span months before any physical meet). It is entirely possible that in this time, one can become attracted to someone (or at least the idea of them) over the internet.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

How long texting by itself will keep her interested is usually inversely proportional to her quality though.

Building attraction online is just a bad idea in general. So much meaning is lost and misinterpreted through text. And you're playing on the woman's turf. The guy is supposed to pursue and initiate, but online this means the interaction is controlled entirely by her discretion. She has all the power. She can easily disrespect you by delaying her response or ignoring you, whether or not it's even intentional. And guess what? Every time she does, you're still there. Because you're the pursuer. The guy ends up becoming a monkey jumping through hoops. None of this happens face to face or over the phone.

I agree completely. I was just trying to state that online attraction does happen - but, yes, it is definitely ill advised as it causes expectations which sometimes cannot be lived up to.
