"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Do girls take into account of how your friends look and act to judge yourself?

Because if I look at it, I seem to have more attraction when I'm with other groups than my normal group of friends which I've known for many years.
I must admit I feel more comfortable (and even less ashamed) when I'm with other groups which are more like me. My normal friends are, well it's hard to say, but are basically nerds and completely different than me. They also have this really negative view on life which brings me down as well.

And about searching other friends, next year I'm going to a college city, so hopefully that will be sorted.

P.S.: if this thread is more in place in the 'Anything Else' section, I do apologize.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Damn it :).

Perhaps I shouldn't wait till I go to university and start changing some stuff right now.

Oh yeah. Sometimes hanging out with just one idiot friend is enough to make a woman become repelled by you, let alone a group of them. What I've realized lately is that your friends need to be channeled into certain events. Some are good for hanging out at a bar, some are good for picking up women, some are good for learning how to fix your 76 Chevelle. Nothing wrong with hanging out with different kinds of people, but keep in mind that you cannot do certain things with certain friends.

Your beer belly football fan friends will never go rock climbing and your nerdy World of Warcraft addicted friends will do nothing for you as far as getting laid. It's just another thing you have to juggle in life.

Yup, im in high school and the group of friends i hang with are known as the players of the school. So everytime i try to approach and game a girl in my school they ALWAYS assume im a player. That really be messing up wit my mackin

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Yeah, they do. I remember my friend's ex girlfriend added me on Facebook. I posted a status related to cannabis/marijuana and she judged him for that.

I resent the bolded section Vlad lol. I was once a World of Warcraft junkie...but it never hindered my ability to pick up/fvck quality (8/9 HBs) women. Most people never had a clue I played the game, and even if they did it didn't seem to matter. I guess I was never really the "typical" nerd...but heh.

But that aside..I still agree with everything you said hahah!

I use to go to clubs with a bunch of my long time friends. They dressed horrible, couldn't dance, didn't drink, and couldn't approach a girl without crapping themselves...after I moved to a different state NY to LA I found new friends that I go out with.

I roll with 2 other guys. We are all in great shape, dress really fashionable, love to drink, and very very social with women.

The point is when I was with my first group of friends I was on my own. When I started going out with the second group, the looks, the responses, the women started lining up. (figuratively)

Go out and have fun with your old friends! But maybe if you are going out to party and meet some women, bring friends that are on the same page! 100% makes a difference.

Of course she'll judge you by your company, just as you will judge her by her's. Especially if she's got enough orbiters to form an asteroid belt.

so much truth in this post

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Gonna give this a bump as I sit with a new question.

I haven't seen my friends sinds about 3 weeks and will not see them till (probably) next week saturday or sunday. Reason is because of exams and studying.

During this time I've realized more and more that they're not right for me (at least some of them, the other part is ok). They're just too different, don't do crazy stuff, do the same things over and over and just nag nag and nag. After my exams I'm gonna apply for a job in the local club to be a bartender in the weekends, mainly because of the money but it would also be a great thing to do so I don't have to hang out with them that much.

I know this is so wrong because they've always been good to me (although if I really think about, just one person has been really good, the others actually didn't matter about certain stuff but o well). I had great times with them, but the feeling that they're bringing me down and certain situations with other people have made me more aware this just isn't working.

Is this so wrong or has anyone else experienced this too? If so what did you do about it.

I have kept a solid core of 4-6 friends for a long time...however, theyre all fairly good with women tho

how i can relate is that i have associated less with some acqauintances (not real friends ) after seeing that they could hinder my pickup...

dropping a close group of friends would be difficult tho

I only have two friends who i consider to be family and if a girl is put off by them then they can go screw themselves because those kind of girls aren't who i want to associate with anyway.

I'd say yes, for all aged women, but probably more scrutinized by high school girls. Your friends can say a lot about you. Just another way for women to judge your "value".

Definitely. But they will judge you 100x more on how their own friends see and think of you.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
